Translations being sent to her.
« on: September 04, 2009, 12:14:43 pm »
Is it possible to get a copy of the actual letter the translator gave to the woman I am writing?  Plus a copy of what the translator wrote to the woman after translating it for her?  What I am looking for is both copies to be in Mandarin.  Has anyone had success with this?

Added after Robert's question.  She does not have a computer and either communicates via telephone or goes there.

There are no problems right now I have always wondered about this. I really would like to know what is actually being said. Or am I abscessing about this?

Shaun , how is your lady receiving her emf from the agency , does she go there ? or via computer -or fax - or phone , now thats a start , if she has a computer with agencies they are supposed to forward the original and a translated copy to the lady , however if they communicate via phone , you come up with - Lost in Translation , type messages , regards Robert .

Bummer Mike, Are the misguided letters that important? Couldn't you just generalize them? and shorten the amount of time about them?

Mike the Chinese have a saying. Why dwell on the past. You cannot change the past. There is no reason to dwell on what you cannot change.

I know that you are feeling cheated. We all felt this way. When we found out.The important thing to remember is there is a women who is crazy about you.And your crazy about her.

Keep everything in perspective.Don't let your thoughts get ahead of your mouth. If there is no hidden kids,a hidden  husband or boyfriend. And she isn't chassing a green card or a sugar daddy.Or a religouse thing for you. Then just work threw them slowly with paitence and understanding.

We have took the oldest story known to man and put are own twisted thoughts and values into it .And like always anything  man is involved in we screw it up.

You definatly need to follow rule # 1  and rule # 2.You follow the rules I'm sure you and Jessica can work this out.Forget the rules forget the relationship.

I think Mike's lesson is a good one.  Hope for the best and cope with the rest.  Another example why it is so important to have face to face contact, even with all of its limitations via a web cam and QQ.  It is hard.  But, it is REAL.  Then, if you must add clarity with EMF's the translator knows the BS has to end.  On QQ, we meet the real Chinese lady on the other end (even with the language barriers) and get the real scoop.

Alice has a commitment to learn English.  She demonstrates that by having a dictionary during QQ sessions and looking up words she does not know.  In addition, she is starting an English class in two weeks.  Being willing to be willing is all that is necessary to give you something to hold on to.

The translators are selling a product-an image-an expectation of a wonderful woman at the other end of an EMF.  You have to expect them to do their job.  For them, it is survival, not theivery.

Mike I'm glad to hear that your willing to try to work threw this. The best advice I can give you.Is Don't make any promises that you are not willing to keep. For example if you told Jessica that you would get her a computer so that you to could talk back and forth. Then it is important that you get the computer before you leave.

Jessica has heard it all before. From Chinese men to Foreign men.It is time to show her. That you do what you say your going to do.Actions do speak louder then words with a Chinese women.

good luck
Maxx

Mike,

Everything going well with the computer?

We're off track here.  This was the original question;

Is it possible to get a copy of the actual letter the translator gave to the woman I am writing? Plus a copy of what the translator wrote to the woman after translating it for her? What I am looking for is both copies to be in Mandarin. Has anyone had success with this?  She does not have a computer and either communicates via telephone or goes there.

Shaun , the simple answer is all correspondence between the Agencies and the ladies in Mandarin along with a copy of your original emf are the property of the ladies and as such can only be obtained directly from them via an email , hope that answers your question , regards Robert .

Abigbutt , that is quite possible that she did not receive the q q number what goes into the agencies is not always what the ladies get and especially if they are on phone , and by the time they receive the hard copy it maybe several emf have passed , and do not forget a lot of the women do not even know that they are on chnlove , they only deal with their agency which maybe in a different town and the agencies may have them on 4 different websites including Chinese ones .
