Price for a Translator on trip

I paid RMB300 per day (or part day) plus meals & taxi in Shenyang. But I did not enjoy having a translator, and found the Besta brought us closer together.

That's way too much to be paying mate, If that's what these local agencies are asking, find an independent translation company or make a deal with independent  translator, ....You getting stung big time there Willy!!
As Maxx said, 300 is average, and a maximum of 400 is all you should ever pay for a day. ....plus all the overheads of course!!

This is the prices  the angencys are quoting in Zhuhai now - perhaps there is an opening to set up translator business here.

I do not have to use translators now.  I have my own Besta for when I cannot make my self understood but  I do not expect to many replies I still keep my ladies to the maxim that we were taught when we were young - 'DO NOT SPEAK WITH ---'!!!!!!!!

Hand in Hand P368 standard rate 200 rmb per every two hours
Three translators i met all charge this rate.

As soon as I read that I went and bought a Besta MT7000. No way I'm paying that much.
