Josh, I've been meaning to get to you on this but have actually been swamped with so much work as of late. Teaching industry is exploding here right now. I have made so many contacts here and could find you work here at a half of dozen different schools. Recently a new International school called Pattison just opened a chain up in and around Shenzhen so there is tons of new opportunity available. My supervisor from one of my jobs is moving over there so she can get you in there at 10,000 rmbs starting and then 12,000 rmbs after probationary period. I think some additional money up to 4,000 rmbs for lesson planning. Drawbacks are 6 day 48 hour work week but the cover your work visa and pay for your airline tix. Money isn't what I'm making but it is a start and more than enough to live on. I was thinking about suggesting you move here just because there is more opportunity for both of you here. The economy is stronger, the air cleaner, better quality of living here. Also, the teaching job does not come with an apartment. I live in a nice apartment for 2,100 rmbs plus water and electric. It is definitely more practical living here as opposed to Guangzhou.

Dude, I'm clocking around 20,000 rmbs a month, buco bucks, life is good here.
