first thing first, what is the purpost of this forum?

All I can say is, you should poke around this forum, and you will find quite a bit of information.  Likely, the girl is not a scam...could be a bad agency.  What agency was your lady writing to you from?

Read, Read and Read.  Go back, start from the beginning and read everything you can.  This will answer a lot if not all of your questions.  Once done reading, just ask away.

chnlove, for now i replied all girl that write to me, but when i found that there are even scam girl i cut down the girl i will reply around 7

Just make sure that if you mention something in an EMF that your lady mentions it in a reply. This goes a long way to determining if a lady is genuine. Be especially careful of the Changsha Love Bridge ladies :s.

I have started my Mandarin course, but let me tell you that learning Mandarin is incredibly difficult. And when you get to China you'll realise that there are many different accents and dialects. Unless you have the time to learn or are naturally gifted at languages, it's a tall order learning Mandarin. Even my teacher is surprised at how little I've learnt after 2 trips to China.

Keep at it and you will succeed.  The problem is you're more familiar with germanic and latin based languages and you are straying far far away from your comfort zone.  I know I would have the same problem with african or slavic based languages myself.

What have they got you guys learning?  Maybe we can help everyone bulk up on their mandarin at the same time...
