Do they turn their clocks back in China like we did last night?

NO!

I mentioned this to my girl in the spring. They don't have time zones either.

Nope.  China is one giant time zone.  So those of us in the EDT/EST, it's now 13 hours, not 12...

I've always believed that we should all just go to universal time and when it's time to do your thing then you do it.  Wake up when the sun comes up and sleep when it's dark.  Hours are just a numbers we stick on fractions of revolutions of the earth.

How do they do it now.  Just change the "labels" on the times.  They wouldn't really do anything different.  Just the businesses would change the signs on the doors and fliers as to what hours they are open.

Hi !

I think DST is great. Love it in the spring when we adjust the time and suddenly we have light for on more hour in the evening.

We love DST in Melbourne , so we can have more bbq's after work , but in Western Australia they do not have DST as they think their carpets and drapes will fade , haha
Now it is early to bed and late to rise .

I love it in the fall as I get an extra hour of sleep and hate it in the spring because I lose that extra hour of sleep.  Once I adjust to the change all is good and I do enjoy the extra hour of daylight. I do find that I function better on regular time rather than DST.

The time change never ever bothered me really.. I sleep when it's dark and waken up when it's light.:icon_biggrin::icon_biggrin:

Personally I'd rather the extra hour of light in the evenings than in the morning.
Am not a morning person, light or no light!!
Become the change you want today, or all your tomorrows will be like yesterday.

When I was working I hated it. went to work in the dark and came home in the dark.  I still dont like it, now I have to get up an hour earlier to chat with my wife.
