The Funniest and Most Incredible
« on: November 10, 2009, 08:44:37 pm »
Looking over my balcony today and I see a young lady getting onto the back of a motorcycle.  Side saddle of course, which they are most adept at doing with ease.  She decided to adjust her seating stood up and sat straight back down.   Only to find her transport had gone thinking she was settled and there he was 6 feet up the road and her left seated on the ground with legs akimber.  She was more embarrassed about showing her knickers than hurt!!!

The most incredible thing also happened this morning.  It will probably never be seen again and i wished I had my CCTV working so that I could have shown you something that those who have visited China will not believe without evidence.

That is a bicycle rider turning left and giving a hand signal.  Yes a HAND SIGNAL.  actually giving an indication of where he was going.

Any one else seen things that have amused them in China?   Or they thought was incredible?

Man with two large suitcases taking a motorbike taxi ride with neither driver or occupant wearing any safety gear whatsoever. Utter lunacy, but doesnt really shock me any more  but it does amuse me, the normal here would be very abnormal in any other country i think.
Baby in open cotton sack/pillowcase on the back of a woman sitting side saddle helmet less of course , side saddle and texting on a mobile while the driver swerves in and out of traffic a break neck speed.
Become the change you want today, or all your tomorrows will be like yesterday.

Frightens the life out of me they way they carry babies on these machines.

I am trying to get photos from my balcony of the incredible ways they transport people and items on the smallest method of transports.

I will post them as and when they arise.

This load is being carried on a two wheel bicycle. It seems the rider is transferring my previous Viagra needs to where Rob is heading.  It sounds as if he is going to need it more than me now!!!!!

Irish, Motorcyclist don't wear any gear or helmets here either. They get on the parkways weaving through traffic doing 80 - 100 mph (128.8 - 161 km/hr). I had and drove a motorcycle. I never drove like that and I had a helmet on.

Similar Story to Willy's .
When looking for the Post Office in Guangzhou to pick up my Wife's Visa , which was pretty hard to find ... as it had a Main Street address , but the Entrance was on a little side street . There we came across a steep driveway leading to a Restaurant . There come that Bicycle Guy .. with at least 10 of those five Gallon's Water bottle's stacked up on the back of his Bike . Well , he made it halfway up that incline ... get's off his Bike and behold .. the Bike start's to lean to the left and you guessed it . All of them started to ROLL down the Alley-way into the Main Street . I think , I payed more attention to the Guy's expression on his Face .. than the Bottle's being hit bypassing  Car's . I never forget that look . That might have cost him a weeks worth of Pay if not his Job ?

Probably two months worth there.  But the way Rob is going, getting all these women lined up it will last him no more than two weeks.:icon_cheesygrin::icon_cheesygrin:
