Yes honey, I was stuck for 3 days in that strip bar down town, and I know the car has 4-wheel drive, but there was at least a foot of snow outside, and we had to hunker down and nothing to eat or drink except beer and fish & chips.  It was so cold the girls had to sit in our laps just to keep warm as they were wearing hardly anything and wern't prepaired....:icon_cheesygrin:

This is a quiz for people who know everything! I found out in a hurry that I didn't, only got Q1, Q2, Q5, Q7!!!
These are not trick questions. They are straight questions with straight answers

Ok..David has got us all thinking !!!....here's a little brain teaser to keep you going...makes a good "party trick".

It sounds easy...but not as easy as you might think.

For those of you with a superhuman memory, you can simply memorise all the 51 cards...for us mere mortals...there has to be another way

Take a deck of cards....shuffle well.

Keeping the deck face DOWN, remove ONE card..NO, Dont look at it, place it face down on the table on its own.

Now...you can go through the deck, one card at a time...and this time you CAN look at the cards as you place them face down again ONE AT A Time.

Go through the deck 3 times ONLY...and decide what card has been removed.

It is a standard psychological test...when we get some feedback...I'll tell you what it means psychologically :icon_cheesygrin::icon_cheesygrin:

After reading all the questions again I was answering question 8 not 4.  But I am still wrong.

As for Niagara Falls I think it's more than 2 feet a year.  I remember not too long ago that it was much closer to the middle of the visitor's centre (at least the Canadian side) than it is now...but if you saw how silt-filled the water is during the winter, you wouldn't be surprised that it's going backwards.

David E the one that's missing is the one not in the deck? 52 cards in a deck.

Yes Vince, you are correct...but forgive my lack of explanation !!. There will be 51 cards left AFTER you have removed one card...and you did not look to see exactly WHICH card it was. The task is to go through the remaining 51 cards and deduce which is the "mystery" card you first removed.
