Once out of the United States, do they allow you to smoke on the planes ?  Like which airlines will allow this or is it forbidden all
over the world ?

The flight I was on, United, there was no smoking on the plane at all. The last time I went to france there was no smoking on it either. I think the no smoking rule is on all airlines worldwide. I know the germans were trying to start a nudist airline, but that is a different story. Do you smoke? If you do, bring the gum, Nicorette.

Unlikely you'll catch any bug on a modern plane unless your sitting next to an affected person.
The amount of air changes and filtration is such that makes plane flying very safe indeed.

Remember the good old days when you could light up a ciggy?? the next seat down from the smoking section would hardly know there was a smoker behind them. The airflow/amount of air changes and Super Hepa filtration saw to that.....

People have been watching too many films, where  plane fulls of passengers are contaminated by a single passenger, ....It's just never going to happen!!!!

If you managed to pick anything up on your journey, the chances are it was at the airport  NOT on the plane you traveled on.....

Yea, could have been the airport too. The kid was over 2 seats and 1 row behind me. When we got to Tokyo we all had to change planes and most of people were together on the same plane again. They even made us go through the whole security check again.

Not sure why anyone would want to smoke on a flight. After all the direct flight from Hong Kong to London is only 13 hours long.!!!!:angel::angel:

Planes are new design the seats are old design. They are probably the old seats. Those things are uncomfortable as hell. with reguards to the smoking on the plane, I suppose you could always use chewing tobacco. They probably would not like the spitting on the floor though. Hahahaha! :icon_cheesygrin:

simple cure, hire stew's that smoke...by the way, 13 hours is like eternity for a smoker.  Besides from what I have heard about these flights, smoking is the least of your worries.

I think there would be a niche for that! I smoked for 32 years. Quit 10 years ago last march. I hated to fly anywhere. Had to chew the gum that tasted like it was scraped off a public bathroom floor. I used to chew one piece of niccorette gum with one piece of peppermint gum.

It's all a nonsense this no smoking on aeroplanes. Smokers never affected anyone from the non smoking areas on these planes, the air conditioning systems saw to that... All it means is that the airlines don't have to replace the air filters so often these days!!!

As i said, i reckon there's a good market for certain routes around the world flying these smoking only flights. I wonder how long it would take, before the main carriers started smoking areas again, if these smoking flights really took off in a big way, ....Not long i would warrant!! ...haha!!!

I think I said earlier that a German company was trying to start up a nude airline in Germany. I know that there was an american airline that was started just for a couple to join the "mile-high" club. I wonder how they are doing? :icon_cheesygrin::huh::icon_cheesygrin:

Who knows, but lets face it, that's a limited niche market, whereas Smokers are a major world market!!  Got to be a far better bet ...success wise, than the ''Dirty Old Man In a Raincoat'' type market!!   ...hahaha!!!
