widow year

(1/2) > >>

Neil:
Nina and I have postponed our wedding partially due to her fears on this subject: http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/life/2009-12/11/content_9161366.htm

I just wanted to give a heads-up for others planning a wedding this year.

Josh Markley:
This may or may not have some to be brides torn.  It was my thought it was a good thing to have a tiger baby.  My ex mentioned many times how important it was.  I wonder if she took into consideration this superstition.

Willy The Londoner:
Oh shall I divorce and get married again next year?  Mid you if I suggest that to her then maybe she will become a widow this year!!!

I think it was just a ruse by those with cold feet to put of the nuptials many years ago:icon_cheesygrin::icon_cheesygrin:

It is like the more modern superstition that is used in Africa on a night out - that all Virgins are going to be cast into a burning pit the next afternoon.

I will tell my lady that a wedding will be cheap this year!

I am still aiming for 10.10.10 - that's got to be an auspicious date!
