The Butterfly

Like the butterfly emerging from its cocoon
to the first rays of the morning from the spring time sun.
A sight that is rarely seen, and even less
appreciated for what it is.
You ask me, what is the butterfly?
I tell you the butterfly is you,
the butterfly is love emerging ,
Made into flesh and bone,
into the very air you exhale.
The butterfly represents
how I feel about you when I see you.
Like the sun is to the butterfly
I shall be to you.
I only survive to warm you heart.
You are the air I inhale,
the ground that supports me,
you complete my soul.
I love you.

Wrote this one to my lady on the third day of my visit with her.
She seemed to like it. It was promptly sent to all of her friends and given to her family. She still talks about it. I have more I may post later.
I write a lot of poems. Most of the American cowboy poetry.
Does it matter to the bird if an apple is Red or Green? Or does the bird just care that the apple is sweet.

So here is another one , because me thinking of my poor LaoPo at Home and being sad having failed the Driving test .
After gulp'in my Lunch down , I wrote this in honor of my Qing .

A disappointed Flower !

A Flower .. to survive
needs special care ..
water and sunshine too .

Growing over some time
becoming more beautiful
as the day goes by
reaching to be near her prime .

Being loved can never hurt
this can make a Flower smile
but there are always day's
my Flower want's to shine .

Only to find no sun
at a very important hour
incountering the unwanted rain
leaving my Flower in despair
and in much pain .

Guy's , here is another Poem .. that I kind of was pressured into writing .. as Qing mentioned to me the other night . Your are not as Romantic as before , when we were apart and waiting to see each-other again . This of course brought out my Pen and Paper again real fast at my Lunch break yesterday . So , I like to share what became of this quest to stay my Romantic self . haha

My Sunshine !

Qing is the name of my Sunshine
brightening and warming my Heart
each and every day of my Life

Qing not only shines during day's
but also the lenght of the night
how wonderful it is
to be calling that Sunshine mine

Never to be without light
having her near and always bright

As one can see
I'm mostly satisfied and in delight
to have Qing's Sunshine by my side .

I certainly hope I still have it and never lose it .

Hey Arnold, seems like our ladies are operating on the same wave length.

My wife runs part-time her own business teaching music and drawing. She also holds some English classes helped by our ex agency translator and friend Guang Han. She wants to update her advertisement and asked me to write some words and choose some pictures.

In Shenzhen travellers will discover the many wonders found at  Window Of The World
In Shenzhen can also be found the window into my soul.

For she graces here my beautiful lady, grander then a giant flower filled urn
And it is to Shenzhen that my heart burns in its desire to return

The future unknown, hard to behold and dazzling with endless possibilities
but solace can be found under an umbrella crafted from Chinese culture and prose

Let these words echo my quest as across the sea my Heart does roam
To China its people, its places I Love and now call Home
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As can be seen by the last picture, my wife did post pictures of Shaun and Mike without asking their consent. I hope you guys are not to harsh on her. She neither told me about it and I only found out from this picture she sent me.

ARNOLD????  Holding hands????  Not even.

Ron, I am OK with the picture as long as the royalty fees are sent to Peggy.  She will save the money.  ;D

It's all good; really.  I don't mind at all.  Someday I'll be famous.  ;D

I wasn't sure if I would post my latest Poem here , but after Qing and I read it and I explained it in every detail .. I will now .

A Man's Poem

What drives a loving Man
looking into his wife's eyes
trying to do all he can
keeping romance true and nice

Inside he's full of love
willing to share it all
doing not always the right thing
well you know that could be tough
also take an unexpected fall

This will happen when trying too hard
to always wanting to please
but running out of idea's
loosing fate in himself
leading to lessen his love

To keep it fresh and honest
the Man must now look back
why he fell in love one past day
he will see what made him special

Look again to his wife's eyes
let her know she's still the one
and i will always be pleased
to keep the romance true and nice

A Man's Poem .. his friend
and most of all .. peace .

Well , under my own pressure of not having written another Poem for my LaoPo .. I did manage to drag one out of my Skull . ::)

One might take this the wrong way , but it is meant for ... well Qing and Myself at least ... never ending
" HONEYmoon " .

Honey from a " Well " .

Two kinds of Honey exist
both produced by a Bee
so no need for a long List

The most common of course
everyone knows and loves
comes from Flowers as a source

The second more plentiful
but away from a Bee with wings
some kind two People share
it is made from Love of all things

Never to be put on Bread or in Tea
if you ask me honestly
this Honey is from a " Well "
is the best over all
certainly suits me very well .

Today is somewhat of a Special Day !
It's 11-11-'11 !

This made me get to work the last few days , coming up with a new Poem . Sitting here and having my daily Coffee , I decided to finish what I started .. as I did wanted to post it today .

So here it is , call it for what it is .. Lovely-Nice-Dumb .. I think my LaoPo will love it . That is what counts after all the most .

Time has feelings ?

Starting out in Life's path
time has no meaning really
it is something only to pass
no need to do any math.

As we grow older and wise
time takes on other looks
becomes part of our Life's
sometimes in a way not so nice.

Ones married to a beautiful Wife
we start counting it's minutes
hours seem to go by
making day's in our Life.

Time adds up to marriage bliss
I start to think .. I know
is there a feeling that comes along
to make ones togetherness glow.

So .. time does have feelings
I must admit and say
I can see it and feel it
as clear as any day.

Taking in those feeling's over time
makes me and my honey
come closer .. each and every time.

Well , received this via my Cell Phone :

Hi, my wise LaoGong. Love the Poem. Thanks for all the happy time I have been with you. I am counting the seconds right now. haha  *** I LOVE YOU ***

Ahhh .. it does make it all worth it !!! :)

Today is somewhat of a Special Day !
It's 11-11-'11 !

Ahhh .. it does make it all worth it !!! :)

November 11th the day to remember
Those killed on fields and distant shore
Souls cut down like fallen timber

Would we burn for rest of eternity
If in our indebtedness we are remiss
To pay their Bond with our maturity
Life....It's all about finding the Chicks and Balances
