Impressive fireworks display in Beijing!

A short generic article of some importance to the China uninitiated, the Year of the Snake being
just 1 of the 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac.
"...The snake has a mixed reputation in China. It is
associated with wisdom, beauty and intelligence but also pride and anger".

Jing is with family in Fushun, in Lioaning Province, N.E. China for the New Year's celebration. Strange name,
the "Spring Festival", Fushun is like 1 °F, with ice fog. Frigid!

Well, since my son will turn 18 (legal age for becoming an adult here) during this year of the snake, I can say that this will be HISs year.

His sign is the same as mine being 36 years younger then me, but I do not wish to bore you guys with all the details.

Best wishes for all the members here - may your fortune cookies hold true wealth, and may your fire crackers pop well - Gung Bay to all and to all a good HIS story
