Well I went to the local police dept to register and give them the info about where I would be staying.  They KNEW absolutely NOTHING about this, they phoned Sophie to come from work to collect me, they thought I was lost !!!!

Ha , Ha , Rob , now be honest you just wanted to check out the local police women , they rejected you and asked for Sophie to collect , so now you can wait for the knock at the door , any time soon , regards Sujuan and Robert .
Now it is early to bed and late to rise .

Rob, you should always follow the example on this site.  Wait for them to come to you.  They knock, you let them in, they ask you in Chinese, you reply in broken Spanish.  It is easy.  Would you like some el green tea o? It will provide amusement on both sides and create more conversation later down the road.  ;D

Mike, the funny thing is when Peggy and I are talking and she does not understand after several tries I break into Spanish.  I have a pretty decent vocabulary.  I mean I know all of the cuss words. :o  No really you should see the look on Peggy's face.  It cracks me up.

The knock at the door has happened only once here so far.
It was census takers.
So I guess I have been counted in 2 countries now.
