« on: January 27, 2011, 09:27:36 am »
well my final push for happiness as arrived
it as taken me from 1976 to finally find my Chinese princess
it as been a very long road
i have so much to say, but how to put it all into words i find hard my be some day i shall be-able  tell you all about my long journey
yes it as left me emotionally drained
but now i go back to Chengdu to marry my queen
i shall, return to England sell my home and go back to my final resting place in Chengdu
i hope to drop a line or two when i am over don't you just love it when a plan comes together
tomorrow i fly out to Chengdu for my wedding
and not to mention the great time i shall have  during spring festival
my last day in Chengdu is valentines day what a nice way to spend my last day there

i am excited and full of hope for the future
regards joey

Joey

A happy end to a long journey........I wish you happiness and bliss for evermore  ;D ;D

As my Wife is also from Chengdu, I can picture the exact place where you will get your Red Book, and the 2 dragon Ladies who run the place !! It is not a very impressive room, Spartan really
But that does not matter, when you walk out of there you will be Man and Wife...what a feeling !!!

Well done...best regards...David

Hi Joe

!976 to now is only 34 years!  Are you really sure you are not rushing into this!!

Seriously it will be the best move you ever made.

I have not regretted it for one day. Don't know much about Chengdu but Hong Kong Airport is close enough, if by chance,  my aging process causes any health problem.  Still you are ten years younger than I so not so much a problem for you.

Your last day in Chengdu is my wifes birthday.  God I am so lucky to have easy dates to remember.  So when I say happy birthday to her i will know you will be married and will drink an extra toast to you and the new Mrs Joe.

I take it you will be still keeping an address in the UK for 'administrative purpose'.
