Packers/Steelers Super Bowl
« on: February 04, 2011, 06:28:56 pm »
It's this time of the year again ... prediction time.

Both defenses are great. The Steelers OL is missing 3 regulars. The Pack defense will blitz often.

Because Big Ben is an 'asshole' with a suspect character ...

Because the Packs haven't won in quite awhile ...

Because Brett Favre will be pissed off because his successor [ Aaron Rodgers ] won ...

Because Rodgers has great stats indoors and the Pack offense is fast ...

Packs 23   Steelers 16

Ok I'll join in but first are we talking about Netball or Rounders or is it a flower show - whichever I guess it must be flowers as the winners gets a Rose Bowl?

Yeah, I hate to go with the crowd, but Big Ben fits the description that Chong gave and to boot, he is a filthy buckeye and those of us north of Toledo always side with cheese heads over buckeyes.

Besides, not like we can count on the Lions for anything...  thank god for the Red Wings!

Now I am really confused. I thought it was Steelers and Packers now we got cheeseheads and buckeyes with some lions and ones with redwings thrown it and also the iconic clock from London gets in the act as well.

David E I guess me and you will settle for cricket any day.  At least we talk in English about it!

Yes Willy...

Nothing beats the sound of leather on willow as a quick off-breaking doosra leggie is despatched off the back foot to square leg for a boundary, just giving half a chance to the silly mid-on and spoiling the chance of a maiden. The keeper was ready to whip off the bails for a stumping, but the batsman read the length right, skillfully avoiding the top-edge, and being caught low down in the gully or 4th slip.  There was a little concern that the bowler over-stepped, but his foot was behind the line and the reverse swing was not working properly  !!!!!!

Now...go and explain this to your Chinese wife and friends.......I tried, they are all still laughing !!!

What I think David E said, was that the Packers are going to take it.  If that's not what he said, then I haven't got a clue what he said.

Ahhhh.... another Red Wings fan! I am not alone here anymore. I will leave the Lions out of it for now. I am more of a Vikings fan myself.
