Fiona just woke me up with the following story. Ada and an American dude John are planning to get married. He has turned in the K1 application some time back. I don't have the details yet but apparently Ada told John she did not want to come to America because her son did not want to go. So John sends an email to the Guangzhou embassy telling them to cancel the visa application. I don't know why he did this but it really doesn't matter now that it is done. Now it seems things have been sorted out and Ada and John want the VISA after all. They want to know what can be done to reach the embassy and tell them they were only joking and don't cancel the VISA application.
Does anyone know a hotline into the embassy or a name of a department head? I am expecting a call from John at any time today.
