newbie here (but not)
« on: September 12, 2011, 12:37:56 am »
Hi all
Been reading this forum for 3 weeks , I hear some good advice from some old warriors,  most of what I learned the hard way.
I have been to china 3 times. My first was a real adventure  not knowing how to speak any Chinese  but to say Ni Hao and I still don't speak much but to say" I miss you" and "I love you" . She speaks much better English after a year on Skype. Xin is my lovely fiancé, yes I know they all are,  but really she is all any man could ask for. I do have one thing to say to others that are still looking be patient, be honest
and as philip said "take a leap of faith" it won't kill you to pick up the pieces and start again many have and found the most beautiful thing in their lives and would do it again to get where they are today.
I know I did and would do it again in a heartbeat .
So much I would like to say now  but I have had a exhausting weekend because Xin dropped a bomb on me friday night she was headed to the hospital for surgery , It turn out it was minor and she is ok but still had me worried  for a day and a half. They will keep you on your toes and life will never be boring again.

Welcome Haynes,

I saw the photo you posted of Xin. She is lovely. I hope she is alright. Is she out of the hospital now?
Don’t give up when you still have something to give. Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying.
