Sending money to China

Every so often someone asks about the Best way to send money to there girl, I saw this advert on TV,I know nothing about this mob but the no fees bit caught my eye.
It might be worth a look for some of you other blokes,I already have an alternative method.

I've used direct bank wire transfers so far 2 times. And those worked just fine. And should be the safest and easiest way as well? Its enough if your girl goes to her bank and then takes out the cash.

The easiest and cheapest way is to get a second card from your bank or better still have a second account for this. You can transfer money into that account and she can draw it out at atm's in China.

Of course you will need to give her the card personally. Or send it by Fed Ex or DHL

As you should never give her money until you have met them and are sure of her then this should be no problem.

Wire transfers of small amounts is the most expensive way of sending.

That's exactly right Willy

28 AUD every time i sent Yan money via western union, it gets a bit much after a while so i did just what you described and it works beautifully. It is a fail safe way of transfer because you control it your end by only putting in to the account the amount you want her to have.

Every time i send my wife money to China it costs me $28 aud to send and then the cheek of the Chinese bank takes $60 aud in fees, I sent MinYing money on 30/10 and she did not recieve the cash until 18/12, They say that i spelt her name wrong after one year of money transfers , I think we are being ripped off, John.
