Jim B,
Not sure what KAL are like these days, but i've heard of a lot of bad stuff about the standard of pilots at KAL. There safety record in the air isn't much to inspire confidence either!!
On the project i worked on in Libya, the Korean contractor were operating there own twin engined turbo prop 20 seater. The client insisted that the Koreans have a western pilot of the same rank as the korean pilot they had employed (ex KAL) The British/Canadian pilot they employed, was never happy with his Koraen counterpart, complaining that he took too many risks and failed to employ the safety measures set by the aircraft manufactures.
So maybe the Delta/Northwest planes and flight crew maybe getting on in age, but at least you know that they are experienced, and get you to where your going.... hahaha!!!!
David....
