Mike my thoughts are with you and your Dad at this sad time and while I can not pray for you I wish " in your words" Gods speed with the visa, I know you can't wait for the comfort of your wife in your arms.

All the best

Mike
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I know how hard it is too loose
your mother and not have someone there to help ease the pain. My father is the same age as yours,
but they had been divorced for 30 years . I hope your  wife's visa comes soon.
Best wishes,
Haynes

That is/was a lot on one Plate for you.. for sure. In one months time, I do hope (I know you do), things finally will be "Normal" for you two and the rest of your Family.
So you are going to turn your Wife into a "New Yorker" now, or will she turn the State upside down to "Her" liking? ;)

Thats one bit of good news in a year or that has been filled with more ups and downs than anyone else on here has had to endure.

But then you know just how much 'Keeping the Faith' plays at such times.

I guess you have "down graded" going back to the USA.  Sorry to hear that you left us.  And also sorry we didn't get another lunch in with the guys here.
