The best Anniversary present
« on: April 14, 2012, 08:32:48 pm »
Sorry all-after a very long hiatus I am back-I know some members come here for moral support with delays and problems we all seem to encounter on our way to happiness, and I appreciate all of the help and support I have received.  This time I was somewhat like a animal who goes away to lick it's wounds and regroup.
Back in November Ping received a blue slip after her interview -We were both very discouraged and somewhat sullen. I myself went from :o to :-[ to :( and then finally  >:(
I had been told that our chances were slim to nil, by our lawyer, but I am happy to report shortly before our first Anniversary (with no idea what to get her) we received the best present of all-She has been approved and has sent her passport to Guangzhou to receive her Visa-So in 3 weeks I will be booking her flight for the U.S.  ;D
I wanted to thank everyone here....without you this wouldn't have been possible. If anyone would like to contact me please do so.
Forever in your debt. James

Congratulations and best wishes for you and your wife. I wouldn't fret too much about cleaning the house, she will totally redo it when she arrives anyway! ;)

I'm sorry Willy I tend to speak in shorthand :o
White paper at interview =means you passed
Red paper =means you have been denied
Blue paper=means additional action or proof is needed

Guangzhou likes to change things up every now and then, when my wife and I went to her interview in 2010 the color code was  Pink/Red= Approved  Blue= Request for additional evidence/ AP additional processing  White= Denied     :)

The Colour-Blind Guy, I guess would celebrate with each paper handed out to his lady? I think blowing a Horn (so otherwise useful in China) ones-twice-three times to let each Interviewed know Pass :) /Maybe :o /Fail.  >:( .

No but the partner has to undergo a test to ensure the 'lady' is not a Thai lady boy.
