Documentary - Has anyone seen this?

I watched these, and then I had to watch the movie.  Has anyone else seen this?  Just curious to get other's thoughts... more about the movie "Seeking Asian Female", but about the short episodes on the website also.

My problem with Steven was that he was looking for an Asian girl for 5 years, and didn't seem to know much about the culture, nor was he interested in trying to learn.

It really bothered me through most of the show.  I was thinking how he could give Western men a bad rap the way he went about it.  Felt bad for Sandy, but at the end she seemed happy, so I guess it was all working out.  Again, I wish he'd been better prepared for it, though.  Wasn't prepared financially or culturally.  I wonder how many men are out there now in the same situation?  And, when the women tell them that they don't have enough money, or house, or whatever, and the men call them gold diggers... they should see this movie and really understand.

And yeah, I thought he was a little strange...

Anyway, it really helped me see some things, and I think it will better prepare me for being married to Lisa...

Lessen learned...get rid of all photos, e-mails, pictures of other women. Even though Sandy snooped, it wasn't fair for her to have to deal with all the negative emotions. Also another case for only writing to one girl.

Steven with that BS smile should have been a clown!

I thought it odd the lack of mentioning of the large age difference, and if she desired children?

Far more women in China have had bad experiences with 'foreigners' than those who have had relations that have flourished to a stable married life.  Those on this forum are the exceptions rather than the rules.

Yes gents you are all exceptional!

Plus age difference does matter where kids are concerned. A guy in his late 50's now having a child. Where is he going to be when that child reaches College/University age?

I was thinking about PTA meetings. Now that would be hilarious.

Even more hilarious will be watching him play football or another other action sport with his 11 - 14 year old child. Reminds me of Marlon Brando's demise in 'The Godfather' and he was not putting in too much effort either!

Another thing about the documentary...is that dopes like Steven will think they can land a 30 year old. He is very likely older than her dad!

But they do.

At 30 she would be a lost women and will go for what she can get. I do know of women around that age here that have made a play for older men with a wife older than the chaser.  That is why some wives married to foreigners are against their husbands having other women friends.
