Buying a Green Card!

Just watch a BBC TV programme which was centred on automatic green cards for up to 10,000 people a year who invest 500,000 US Dollars and create at least 10 jobs in the USA.

Some Chinese families are pooling all their savings to raise the money so that eventually many other family members can then join the original one in the USA. 

Probably the same thing happens with other countries.

They might have a long wait and the jobs created must be for US citizens. It does happen in other countries like you said and with a lot less red tape. I think the EB-5 program here is getting ready for some heavy duty scrutiny in the near future thanks to some Middle-Eastern countries.
