Scams - Fake Military Personnel
« on: April 05, 2014, 05:46:51 pm »
This is most helpful if you know women who are dating or trying to date.  I have heard several stories from Lisa, who tells me her stories and stories from others, that they talk to more American Generals than they can possibly imagine exist.  Anyway, it seems this is a big scam, especially on international dating sites.

So, Lisa sent me this link:  http://guardianofvalor.com/con-artists-using-fake-military-documents-to-swindle-money-using-soldiers-identities/

If you know any ladies who are on a dating site, or get contacted by American military men, please give them a warning, or even send them to this site.

I have heard from some friends that there are many profiles with the title of Colonel, or General.  they are pigs

I am pretty deceitful myself, getting some lady to talk with me but I don't have any intentions or cheating them out of their money. . Don't know what their scam is but sometimes I would like to create a fake female profile just to have a little fun with them.

I am sure that you mean verbally.  ;D ;D

I cannot imagine you cross dressing to meet up in person with a butch 'Colonel' or 'Major'. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

Ha.  I did not think that statement through ....but whatever! It's a means to an end. I've done a lot stranger things to get the results I want.  But I think this is a bit far fetched. Even with the best make up I would look like a middle aged, overweight ugly woman.  So I would just keep it at online chat only.

I was at Mei's sister in laws house...  And the day before Mei and I had been talking and I had told her about my military service.  Nothing much, just 2 years in the Army.

Anyways she said something to her sister in law and they both started laughing...  I asked her what was so funny and she told me that she just told her sister I was a "General"....   :D  At the time I did not understand why that was so funny.  Now I think I see it.  She had probably met a lot of "Generals" before me...
