Well, I am happy to say my wife has passed her drivers examination and road test. She received her regular drivers license and can now drive herself to work and shopping. I am really proud of her determination and hard-work to achieve this because Georgia does not have instructors that speak Chinese or a Chinese version of the drivers manual for the examination or road skills test. The road rules exam is available in Chinese in written form only and a few Chinese students have commented that the translations are not very good. The road signs test was a challenge due to the fact that all of that test is in English and it was multiple choice. I bought a used car for her a few months back so she is already familiar with her vehicle controls and the handling characteristics of the car. I told her to drive this vehicle for awhile and get some " accident free " solo experience then we will discuss a new car for her.
