finally, the other side...

there was a small matter of luck back then. remember some of the ladies had attached videos to their bios? luckily, Jing had a nice play...she even looked like her pics! (not that she is bad looking or not. I find her beautiful, most importantly, remarkable). so, I kind of knew that her bios was true to the spirit of China. still, it was my knowledgeable navigation, that keyed success for me. 
now, I think ChnLove members pay for the video if I am not mistaken. so that easy avenue is no longer available unless you pay.

John, I was always very impressed of the "Pioneer's" of the 1800's, the courage they possesed to go "West"!

In a way, we are "Pioneer's of our time frame, as we also moved "West" (some East) to the un-known. I think both those kind of Men will soon be gone ones more.

Great photo. I Just wish we could upload higher resolution photos. I always try and get rejected and have to resize it to get it to upload.

How about it thech guys. How about letting us upload larger photos and attachments.

This is a free site, and bandwidth probably costs more as pictures become bigger.

I use dropbox or photobucket to store most of my pictures.  I think we can post links.  I wonder if we can post previews as well?  I'll try.

Thanks Gerry , yes all my photos start at 3 upto 4.5 so no use loading them , I was looking at the media site , but that is a no no to , I was looking at dropping some of my Shanghai photos from December , guess I will just have to enjoy them by myself ha ha , regards Robert

I/we all have the same problem. What I do is display them on my photoviewer on my desk top and then use the QQ snipping tool to cut just the piece I want to share. It will also rescale it at the same time. This has never failed for me.

My favourite photo on the wall at home has today been replaced by my wife's choice. A giant life size poster of Mao Tse Tong. He was from Hunan same as my wife.

I won't add a picture here as I am sure you all know what he looks like!

Apart from the poster the walls have the usual array of outdated calendars.   Has anyone ever known of a Chinese person throwing away anything?

It is not just a Mao Tse Tong poster. I have been presented with a brass plaque depicting him and pottery as well.

As I said he was and still is a hero to my wife.    

But I wonder what posters you all have on your walls at home.

Will there be a Willy there?
