Despite all of the discussion of possible scams, the most gorgeous women being plants for greedy agencies and other doubts, it is important to remember what has drawn us here to begin with: the desire to find love in our lives and enrich us in ways we believe we deserve. For me, hesitation was not an option, although I admit I did hesitate for quite a while. The Chinese women appeal to the part of me that grew up during the Beaver Cleaver era. I want the traditional relationships represented by that era, and Chinese women seem to fit that mold perfectly. So to whom should I choose to write? I could have let the doubts expressed above make me try for a less attractive woman, but in the end I couldn't do that. I considered the options, chose only three women who combined exquisitely beautiful face, profile and smile that showed a inner happiness. Then let the chips fall where they may. I received three responses. One was a form-type letter that I ignored. The other two sent heart-felt responses that discussed portions of my profile and asked questions. I chose between them and feel good about that choice. I think I have hit the mother load. I want to share a letter that I received this morning from this beautiful women. I hope it will give heart to some of the hesitant among us:

Guys, we are still too early in the process to consider this a done deal. I sent her some very long, heart-felt letters, with enough humor to put her at ease. I am not put off by her strong response to a few of my book-length letters. I knew why I was here, and why she was here and I went for it. I knew that we were right for each other in many ways from the get-go. I think this is a very encouraging start. Could be the live-changing event I hoped to achieve.

I hear ya, Vince. In my first letter I asked for a real-time photo, so she sent me photos of a few of her paintings (a hobby, but she is a wonderful artist), including two that showed her working on the paintings. She looked identical to her other photos - beautiful, soft and warm. Not a playboy bunny, but stunning to me in her warmth and feminity. Her profile photos were not studio to begin with. I'll pace it properly, and have absolutely no fear of rejection - I am alone now on this lily pad of life and am not afraid of it. I will say that I will not parce myself out to this woman, but will speak from my heart, as I always do, while encouraging her to realize that there are enormous difficulties that we will face. But we will face them together and, if it is meant to be, we will overcome them and then build a life together. I don't think a smiling frog can do much more than that while waiting to become the prince.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for posting your story. I like you feel that Chinese woman are amazing and really sincere in their responses and true to their heart. We also share some similar reasons for feeling this about these ladies(but I don?t know what the Beaver Cleaver era  is?). I was looking for some heartfelt messages as well and return responses from my letters too. However I was also was opening up my heart to her. Amongst all the doubts that I build I am now 4 months into this relationship and we have shared between us 31,556 words, sent back and forth to each other. So I am feeling invested into our relationship both emotionally and monetarily now. I  also thought that six months was enough time to test the water so to speak, but it is also difficult to wait this long to meet someone that you have strong feelings for. And for me speaking about it helps.

UPDATE!!!! To everyone here who has had to endure posts concerning my uncertainty about the letter I received, I apologize to adding to the negativity about the women on Chnlove, the translator who I incorrectly thought to be embelishing, the agency in Zhuhai or Chnlove in general. Guys take heart. The lightningbolt can indeed strike you. Today I received a letter including a note from the translator providing me his phone number and email address. Here's the letter I received today, with an attached photo of my lady smiling and holding a printout of my profile:

How are you today ? Sorry for my late reply, I talked with Tim about your concern, I was moved that you care about our communication so much, hehe, thank you !
