OK so this morning I'm on MSN, talking through getting my girl to set up a PayPal account.
I tell her my head hurts after all that effort.
Then she starts asking me if I hurt my head in a road traffic accident .
Can anyone beat this for a bad translation mishap?
-
Brett, all i'm saying is wait until you get to a restaurant over there with a so called "English menu"..you have not seen the light yet brother haha!

I look forward to Chinglish. This is my favourite Japlish I found in Tokyo last year...

I really loved these anti-smoking signs. There were loads of different scenarios, but this was the greatest:

Haha, I love it !

Hey, don't blame the Chinese because they haven't gotten English right. (or grammar Hehe!) Most Americans and Brits can't either. I saw this sign a while back.

Yeah you know it's a good "Eastate" sale when you see pickups parked on the lawn. :dodgy:
-
Vince,
Just for grins the next time I drive by that area I'll take a picture of the whole truck. It's a sight.

Hi Rob, dunno if you have an answer for this yet, but if you put it into the 'Translation help please' post, Chinese knot, or Paul and Ming Zhi are normally there and often can help with your request.

Think that roughly it is saying ' For God's Sake. Do not bring the dreaded bagpipes with you.'
Seriously Rob not sure how correct I have got this and, I stand to be corrected but I think it is saying that someone is happy with your small size - and is going to be very pleased to meet you when you get there.

Shaun, You know your a redneck if you cut the lawn and find the pickup truck you lost last spring...:icon_cheesygrin:
In Chinese, the translation is, leave the bagpipes, hope you hung like ox...
By the way Rob, my reward will be when you two hook up for good!:icon_cheesygrin:

Rocky,
I found that truck a couple of weeks ago; re-charged the battery; definition for Willy I gave the truck viagra for motor vehicles; it purred like a bagpipe. I would almost swear it sound like it was playing Amazing Grace.

I did that to a car a while ago. Trouble was it kept going straight up the road and I had great difficulty in turning it left or right and trying to stop it before it reached its destination was another story!!:icon_cheesygrin:
