Interesting article about China's up coming bridge shortage. It also talks about how men will now have to marry much older woman.
Hehe, I guess we're not helping there. We're marrying the good single woman in China and leaving less of them for the Chinese men. I think we should send them our cougars and bring over more of the good Chinese woman we all want.

they are looking at the 1 child policy and from what i have been reading
and hearing here i think they will lift that for a period of time.

I recently read quite the opposite...what I read was that they planned to keep the one child policy for another ten years, before reviewing it again.

i read that in the newspaper here were they are reviewing it along
with a pension plan for the countryside people who have not been
given that yet

I dont have any reliable statistics, but from what I can gather from some friends inside the Immigration Department here, the big majority of Chinese women who come to Aus to marry Aus Men are divorced, mostly with a child. The ratio is about 14 to 1...Divorced to Single
These Divorced women would not be considered as marriage potential for a native Chinese Man...so we really are doing them a favour by removing all the useless Women :icon_cheesygrin::icon_cheesygrin: (more fool them ) !!!
But of course, it means they will still have a battle to get a single woman, in the face of stiff (sic) competition from Western Men !!!..and from all the other single Chinese blokes !
One day these Chinese Men will wake up and realise that they may not have quite got it right in their attitude to women and marriage...say in about 1000 years from now !!!
Ming tells me that there are marriage brokers in China who will make arrangements for older, divorced Chinese women to find a husband. They will charge about 150,000 RMB ...more or lesss a "dowry" to be shared between the Broker and the prospective husband. She knows if she ever considered going down this track, she would end up in a terrible marriage of convenience and live a miserable life. So her and all like her do everything they can to find a husband from the West.....or stay single and live as good a life as they can.

Some of my friends ever gave birth a girl,But they told me their task havenn't finished yet,They still need to have one more baby,and it should be a boy, So I think if they cann't have a boy ,How disappointed it will be.

its to bad they think that a boy is all they need but it has to do
with the earning potential and taking care of the family in late life.
when having a child the health should be the mian concern not the sex of
the child but as david said WE are ETERNALLY Grateful
