The only one I know is the soup par bowl my wife serves to me!!:icon_cheesygrin:

Serriously though Ted
I have tried picking up live TV on internet but the bandwidth in China seems to be to small to accomodate it.  Of course to get British programmes I have to go through a proxy server to get through to them.   I download them and watch them later - watching live may not be an opition without a satelite dish.

Check out CCTV5 Ted.  Get Siying to see if it is in their programme to show.    They seem to show a lot of sport on that Channel.

Well kickoff is at 6:25PM Sunday, since that comes 11 hours earlier in China why don't one of the brothers post the results here and that way we still have a few hours to go to our bookies and place a few bets, being that 6:25 sunday comes a few hours after it does in China.  We could make some kind of agreement that we'd split the proceeds. :fi_lone_ranger:

Ted,

There is a website here that a lot of Brits use to watch the English Premier league soccer from the uk!!  I know it has American Football, hockey, basketball, and Boxing on the menu, Plus a variety of US TV Shows.

Anyway, the site is '' http://p2p4u.net/feebets''  At least you can try it. If it's available to you, Play with it awhile, it takes a little getting used to with the initial ad's, but you can get rid of them easily....

Well worth a try anyway....

David.....

Lol, controversial!

Looking forward to the almighty Irish kicking ass again in the rugby in the Six Nations again this year Stuart? :icon_twisted:
For those who don't know what rugby is, its the mans version of girly American football - no pads and the play actually continues for more than 2 seconds at a time!

Ted,

I asked my son if he new of a website, he is into all sports mostly football. He said he has used ESPN play by play. I found it myself but there were no games going on, there was a play by play of a basketball game from last night still on it.  You might see if it is available over there.

I hate to see a man not able to watch the super bowl. Who's going to win? I am from Indiana and there allot of colts fans around here. Been to Colts game once a few years ago when the allmighty Packers came to town. Colts are a good team but i would kinda like to see the Saints win one. Anyway i hope you find a way to watch the game.

Kenny

I don't recall saying anything about the English and mighty.
Like the soccer team, English rugby glory days are in the past :icon_twisted:

Kenny, i am like you i would like to see the Saints win as they havent exactly had
much success over the years. i am originlly from Pittsburgh so naturally i am
a lifelong Steeler fan. (maybe next year)

Stuart, i wont get into a pissing contest with you over this opinion of fooball all i
will say is that one of the wonderful things in life is that we can all have an
opinion on something whether good, bad, or indifferent. and enjoy the freedom
to express those opinions inn any context that we want.

David, thanks works well here as i tried it. now if i can figure out why Adobe flash player
keeps pausing while playing i will have it made

Hey you guys got to see the game? I got to watch commercials? I mean WTF? Was the game on? Didn't know what was called? Didn't get to see the whole play? No huddles ball in action when they came back from another commercial? I'll be sending a complaint on this one. But they don't care anyway it's money to them.

They spend millions on those ad's, they get better every year. But don't cry now, the saints won.  Vince the super bowl was held in the saints stadium I thought.  You live in florida?  ( I was watching the game and ads)  I think the interception was what lost it for the colts.
By the way, those english rugby players would get hurt playing american football...hahaha

Sorry I didnt get to you before the game.  I watched on Chinese TV and listened to it on the internet.  the p2p4u.net had it until the final two minutes. I did not get to see any of the commercials though.  It was a good game until the interception.  Game over then.  It wasnt the most exciting Super Bowl to me.   i did not care who won, but the half time show was probably the best they had ever had.

it seems like fate the saints won, they were very fortunate against the vikings
but in the end they deserve there victory against the colts.
rocky.... english rugby players wouldn't be on the pitch long enough to get hurt.
they would be dying of boredom waiting for thee adverts to finish.hehe.

Rocky, No the game was here (for some reason?) I don't follow it that much to know why? I just don't follow any sport to where I'll beat up someone for talking bad about a team. I've played many sports but to sit and watch every game? Borrring..

David E I hope you mean murder figuratively maybe in points? Physically your whole team would be like hitting a brick wall from just one lineman. He doesn't stop for tea? When your face to face with someone 3x bigger then you and his job is to knock you into the ground? I think you would be talking a little different?

Most of the time I enjoy the ads shown. But this time they where in and out of the game so the commercials was more important then the game? I think there was a personal foul on one play but they cut to ads? so I don't know what happen. When they came back the ball was already in play, never saw the line? Where are they? what happen? but the commercial was good?

Vince the advertising dollars were what? about 5 million for 30 seconds?
needed to get as many in as they could and pepsi pulled out this year to
take another approach with their advertising dollars.

GO SAINTS...They just won me £17.50 from the bookies:icon_cheesygrin::icon_cheesygrin:
Title: RE: super bowl
Post by: rockycoon on February 08, 2010, 11:48:18 pm
We don't have bookies, we have "LAS VEGAS" hahaha....

Yeh, those football players are out for the kill, huge and very nasty fella's.  Where as the english (and others) just get in a huge huddle and play kick the ball around, the NFL players don't fool around and would just take it and kick butt on anyone who gets in the way.  They are paid the big money to hurt people, not drink tea.
But then the rules are different in both games....but only to protect our english brothers from harm....hahahaha lol :icon_cheesygrin:

Kind of like going up agiansed gladiators who have had a bad day...haha
