Title: Lady 2.0 Required
Post by: brett on March 05, 2010, 09:44:57 am
Hi all,

Well it looks like through no fault of my own I'm back in the mix, so if anyone has any ladies then let me know :icon_cheesygrin:. I know we've had a few friends of friends ladies appear but I haven't been able to investigate further. Was that red-haired lady ever taken? Have I missed anyone else ?

I guess the 28-32ish age range is where I'm mostly looking, and it's easier if they don't already have kids.

I have been looking on chnlove and I must admit I have no idea what I want. I don't even think Miss Wu was necessarily my type, but her EMFs were enthusiastic, and she was very good to talk to on MSN, and very lovely and wacky in real life.

I quite like the idea of moving to Asia, but not for a year or two.

My Mandarin is now excellent ha ha ha.

Hi Brett,
I have a very nice QQ friend. She is 27, from Nanning, writes to me in English on QQ so her English is not bad. Here are a few pictures. She is looking for a man in the 35-45 age range, a thoughtful man. She likes the great outdoors, as you can see from her pics. Let me know if you are interested and I can pm you her QQ number, OK?

Very nice pictures.  In photo #3 what is hanging around her neck and has a package at the bottom?  is that a cell phone?  The background revels that China is not
all covered in city's, it looks like they have a lot of forest also.

Ted, of that I have no doubt...just 1 weekend ??? You guys are good, or Willy is digging in his little black book....:>)

That's either a cell phone or a camera bag.  Quite common to hang around your neck...

Thanks guys - Philip that's a nice lady. I'll have a think about her.

At the moment I am strangely drawn to Wuhan again but I need to do a lot more thinking.

It's strange that there are Chinese ladies smuggling themselves to the UK in containers, and yet the ones I find on chnlove seem so reluctant to leave the motherland .

I guess I could move to China, but just not yet. My lady has to want to come here.

Brett

For what it is worth...I would have a break from CHNLove for the moment.

Why dont you try China Love Links...there is no EMF problem, the women are mostly real (with the usual cautions about scammers who ARE everywhere)

Pick a few "targets" who seem in your age/looks/background and personality zone and have a QQ chat with them...get to know them a little and maybe someone will catch your attention ??

And its all free !!!!

Brett,

I amy be able to help you. I just made a post in the newbie section for an agency in Qingdao that can set you up with many nice ladies.

However I know a couple of ladies who are friends on QQ I can get their QQ ID with their permissioini and give you if they allow me. Did you say you are looking for 30ish? I think they are both 38/39 range.

Stick to the cold North of China with your excellent Manadarin  Brett - as they mostly speak various dialects of Cantonese down here.

You probably are unaware that I speak a perfect dialect of Cantonese - problem is I am the only one that speaks that dialect now - the last one died of boredom when I tried to have a chat with him!!!!:icon_cheesygrin::icon_cheesygrin:

Yes I am drawn to the north - the ladies seem taller and of course we all know there's something that draws us to the region around Changsha! Wuhan was fascinating and I'd love to go back, this time with my SLR.

I also think my Chinese teacher (who coincidentally is from Wuhan!) might be writing subliminal "find a lady in Wuhan" hanzi on the whiteboard.

It would be a bit of a waste learning all that Mandarin then having to learn Cantonese!

If I eventually found a northern lady would we be able to settle down south or is there a bit of prejudice against northerners? Come to think of it do mixed race kids do OK in China or would they end up bullied a lot?

Anyway I had a wander around London today, it's nice to clear the head and do a bit of thinking. I stopped off at the Japan Centre for some technologically advanced Japanese snacks. It's great to be able to read some of the food packaging now.

I bought a few more business books in Foyles. If all goes according to plan me and my eventual lady might have to move to the Cayman Islands for tax purposes anyway!!!

Well guys I have an admirer letter from a "Lucky", needless to say she is gorgeous.

I should really try the other sites but the chnlove lady is the beautiful lady.

I also got a response from a cupid note I sent to a Wuhan lovely. I am drawn to Wuhan, it was such an incredible place to visit and it was quite easy to get to from the UK. I also have pretty much the entire city to myself, apart from a few French businessmen visiting the Renault factory and Roy lol.

New business #3 is off to a good start and I will be using the awesome power of Google to make more money appear.

I am really busy at the moment and there isn't much time for lady hunting. I might have to engage the services of Bill & Teds Excellent Guangdong Marriage Agency :icon_cheesygrin:.

Wuhan lady didn't like me so I need to do more searching. I did go on blossoms earlier, but it's just full of filipinos. I'm not even sure the Chinese ladies on there are Chinese, maybe they're filipinos as well (like the "Japanese" on that site).

Aren't there any honest dating sites out there ?

Well, sorry to hear that one didn't work out for you, but I am pulling for you to find your One, wherever she is at over there.

Honest sites? lol, it's the dishonest people on the sites that are the problem! I can tell ya one site to avoid like the plague, if you ever run across an add for it...it's called 'wedatefree'. I found that site while googling the name of a scammer who was trying to work me. There are a lot of pretty asians on there, but man, that place is FULL of scammers, so much so that I suspect the site itself is a setup for the scammers to operate from. I could be wrong, but that was the feel I got from it though.

But ya know, one good thing came from my time there....it's where I saw the add for chnlove. Being there and seeing all the asian profiles made me remember the thing I'd always had for asian looks. So I clicked the add, joined chnlove, and that led me to here, lol.

Anyway, back to the point of this thread. I'm watching to see if Willy chimes in to one up Rob and suggest he can find ya a lady in 5 minutes or something, lol.

Sorry Brett I cannot beat 5 minutes.  It takes me longer than that to remember what I should be doing next!!!

Maybe you should let Rob show you the way - he is not called the Battalion Stallion for nothing you know.
Or was that the racehorse he used to ride? hmm.  (scratch head) :dodgy:

Morning all,

I'll keep on going with chnlove - I have tried other sites but the chnlove lady is the beautiful lady.

I've had a few more admirers. I would sure like to see my mother's face if I got married to a 24yo girl called Smile :icon_cheesygrin:.

I have had a reply from a nice lady in Zhongshan and she looks very interesting. If she plays games I'll send Willy round to pelt her apartment with eggs :icon_biggrin:.

Internet business #3 is showing great promise and I'm more confident about moving over there.

Another update in my endless search for a lovely lady...

Miss Wu has reappeared on QQ. She is forbidden from leaving Hubei Province and I am forbidden from going over there to open a blue toilet paper shop or some other kind of crazy scheme, so it looks like it's Romeo & Juliet Redux. It felt a bit strange talking to her, but she is fun to talk to on QQ.

Miss Zhu is sick and I haven't had another EMF. I think she would be reluctant to leave her business and I am sceptical about moving to China. I don't think it would work out at this point in time.

I've had a few more admirers, mostly from young girls called Smile and Rainbow.

I have to take a fortnight's leave in April. I might just go to Thailand and check things out there. Has anyone else here considered the Thai wife thing? The Chinese lady is the beautiful lady, but Western men have been finding wives in Thailand for generations, and so I am wondering if this would be an easier option. My uncle assures me that there are plenty of lovely ladies in Thailand , and one of my friends has a Thai wife and a couple of adorable kids.

Hi guys,

I see chnlove have a new Thai lady site. I've had a look and I don't think a Thai lady is for me, so I mustfocus on China :icon_cheesygrin:.

Miss Zhu got back to me, she sounded lovely but she speaks no English and is mainly a Cantonese rather than a Mandarin speaker. I don't know how that would work. She has a shop in Zhongshan but I just don't think I'm in a position to move to China yet, and she doesn't want to leave China. If I was 10 years older I guess I'd be able to do it, but not just yet.

I keep clicking on ladies who come from Yichang, I must be drawn to the area :icon_cheesygrin: lol.

I am now looking at divorced ladies. I think it is nice to try different search strategies. I cannot believe Chinese men have divorced these lovelies, what a tragedy :s.

Yes a friend of mine has found a very good genuine lady from Thailand so thumbs up to him. The site he found her from is www.datainasia.com.

Apparently there are the ususal scammers there too so take appropriate counter measures.

Or you can go to China and go to the agnency in Qingdao. They have plenty of genuine ladies.

I gave up on blossoms, it's just swamped with filipinos. Same for Hong Kong Cupid - again full of filipinos. I was in Hong Kong when the filipino aiy's had their day off and I've got to say that there wasn't a single stunner amongst them.

I'm swamped with chnlove lovelies this morning, the admirer letters are really flooding in now. I've found a very tall divorced Sichuan lady. I've said before that the Sichuan lady is the lovely lady, but my goodness she is hot. I will make sure she loves the short man! I've also found a lovely from Beihai who looks astonishingly like Miss Wu - didn't someone else go to Beihai?

I need to go on vacation in mid-April but I'm not sure I'll find a lady to visit by then. I might get away from it all and go somewhere else entirely :fi_lone_ranger:.

Brett,

On blossoms you can block the filipinos in your profile.  You can block any nation you want.  If you look there are well over 6000 Chinese women on that site, a gazillion filipinos.

Brett,

You must have walked around Hong kong Harbour area on that Sunday, with blinkers or blindfolded!!! Regardless of what anyone thinks about Filipinos, some of these women are totally stunning...  Apart from anything else Brett, The Sunday gathering of the Filipino amah's is almost a tourist attraction among single male tourists ...and for good reason!!!

Meh, filipinos are not for me. The Chinese lady is the lovely lady.

It was fun to see the filipinos go to the parcels office with enormous boxes of stuff to send home to their families.

Back on topic, I have been EMF writing - I think I need to hire a secretary to keep up with the workload. This is a very tough task as every chnlove lady is a lovely lady and I think I would have a great life with any of them.

Brett,

Whether they are for you or not, ...you came out with another non-sensible statement, as there are many stunning looking Filipino women in Hong Kong that can be seen EVERY Sunday on the Hong Kong side gathering.

Another bit of imformation for you too ....There is a very large Chinese population in the Philipines. I'm begining to wonder if you would actually know the difference, if you came across one, or would you just think ...''oh! she's a Filipino??''

Yes, I agree, the Filipino women are very beautiful.  I spoke with several on blossoms especially in Hong Kong.  By blocking them it gets rid of the constant wanting to chat.  You can go to the Philippines and look without being seen and be selective with the first contact.  I did that and met a wonderful woman there but I didn't think it would work.  Plus if they live in another nation they are not blocked.  The blocking is by nation and not nationality.

You can block every nation if you like so that you can be completely selective and make the first approach.  Peggy found me but she was on my list of women to watch.  Blossoms is an excellent way to get past the translator.  That is all.

If it turned out that Peggy was a Filipino that would not change a thing.

Brett, I was able to spend 4 days in Baoding while I was there visiting Xu Le.  While I was there I saw many beautiful women and no westerners, so I think there is a lot of untapped potential in Baoding.  I was unable to get away on my own while I was there, so I can't tell you how the women react to westerners.  The must see for me was the Lotus gardens they were beautiful.  And if you go dont forget to pick up your Baoding balls.  If you really want the low down on Baoding there is only one man to talk to here.  Paul Todd, he is actually living there with his wife now.  So I am sure he has a lot more insight than I about the daily life and women in Baoding.

Brett,

quit basing your search on cities. everywere and every city has an abundance of
beautiful ladies waiting for someone to treat them with respect and try to build
a lifelong relationship. and the beauty of china is in every area you might be in.
so just find one who you can grow with and develop a relationship with and not
worry about the city. but keep in mind if your looking for eye candy all the time
then you will be burnt if your say late 40 or early 50 and looking for a lady who
is early 20  then your chances of getting had are a real good probability

The only thing to look at cities as being preferential, are those close to international access ...like those close to HK or those cities served by international flights from your home country. ....Nothing to do with the ladies whatsoever!!!  lol!!!

Brett I was in Beihai for a couple of weeks in November 2008. Had good time but it did not work for me and the "Lady". Did you have any specific questions or what? The lady I went to see spoke very little english so we had to use an interperator and that was a bust. All he wanted to do was to eat in all the good places. He was a hungry guy and could put away some food believe me.

Willy,

You gave me a idea with what I can do if I move to China.  I've got it made and the experience.

Thanks Chad. I'm not sure about Beihai lady, she sounds lovely but I think moving from Beihai to the UK is going to be way too big a step for her. I'm not sure I could live there either, the climate is pretty fierce.

Actually I'm not sure about any lady now (see my Hubei thread).

Ted - I've tried searching on many different criteria as a way of unearthing lady profiles I haven't seen before!

Willy - I love those bicycle delivery guys - no load is too big. I'll consider him when I next move house.

Brett,

a great area is guangdong province,
loaded with women and the area has
everything you would want or care to
have as it is a gateway here in China
also loaded with westerners and the
food is great as it has the best of both
cultures along with terrific year round
weather

Thanks Ted.

I am off on holiday to Tokyo for most of April - that'll give me a chance to think about what I want to do next, not to mention the chance to see beautiful ladies wearing stockings, garters, maid outfits and all kinds of other outlandish gear in the street :icon_cheesygrin:.

I've talked to ex-lady a bit more. That Guangzhou Daniel agency, well suffice to say I think they're conning women just like all the other Chinese agencies seem to be doing. They're refusing to talk to me. Miss Wu's bill was massive, although she might have got carried away with the 0's :dodgy:! How can Chinese agencies get away with charging more than UK ones, and for a lot less work?

I did find a list of good agencies, but even these had customers with bad experiences. So I'll assume they're all rubbish, then be pleasantly surprised when they're not.

I have no idea what ex-lady is up to, but I suspect her expectations of a man are way too high. Perhaps if a woman expects nothing of a man, then she will find happiness.

I would be interested if you find a Guangdong lady who would like to talk to me. Suffice to say I think she would have to move here. I don't like this China/Google business at all (Google is a big source of income for me), so I will be staying here for a while.

I have also looked into the Thai wife option. There are some excellent Western run agencies in Thailand that will find you a wife for around $3000, and that includes a wedding and after sales support (so to speak!) I've never been to Thailand but what I do know is that the Thai cleaner in work is always smiling - I could get used to that :icon_cheesygrin:. ~15% of Thais are of Chinese origin, so this might be an easier option, plus the beaches are better :icon_cool:.

There is one major draw back as I see it Ted.    I am not there or is that a plus!!!!!

Sorry to hear it didn't work out between you and the lady, Brett. But like others have said here, there are other beautiful ladies waiting for you out there. Search wide - China, Thailand, Japan - it doesn't really matter. They all have gorgeous ladies!

I actually visited Thailand late last summer, despite being in contact with my lady since several months then (I felt a little guilty about it but on the other hand I wasn't sure about what I wanted at that point). The lady I met in Thailand was beautiful, funny and needless to say an animal in bed. I'd be very careful about Thai girls, though, since many of them are looking for money first of all. Just make sure there's never any talks about income. I think if you find a genuine and honest Thai lady, you'll be just as happy as with a Chinese lady.

I'd have to agree with ttwjr32 about the city based searching. My lady's hometown is Zhanjiang, an ugly and by Chinese standards pretty small city in Guangdong province. That is not where I imagine myself living for the rest of my life. But as it happens it is my lady's hometown (although she lives and works elsewhere) and it is after all possible to relocate - also within China.

Happy hunting!

Hans, Zhanjiang didn't strike me as ugly ... just a bit dirty at the end of the day before the street cleaners get to work before sunrise. Did you visit the shore and beach areas? Or were you based next to the nacy base? :D

I got some very good feeback on Thai women through some German contacts ...

Yes, we walked hours and houts at the shore and visited parks every day. Ugly is maybe to stretch it but it is not the most beautiful Chinese city I've seen, that's for sure. I visited the city during the winter, Zhanjiang might be more beautiful and alive during the spring and summer. When I was there it felt like a slumbering bear.

I am gradually getting over Miss Wu. Sadly my Hubei thread overheated so I have to finish the story here instead.

I've actually made contact with our former translator. I am satisfied I wasn't being scammed by Miss Wu. However I sure as hell was being mislead. I don't know if Miss Wu was being naive, or whether I was yet another victim of that curious Chinese trait of not telling us about really important things, like whether they actually love us or just consider us good friends!

Anyway, the Miss Wu story is now closed. We seemed a great couple, but something was wrong. Apparently her mother didn't like me. I don't know what I did wrong, I guess it was probably just subtle cultural differences that no Western man is going to pick up on on a first ever trip to China.

Miss Wu is back on blossoms and I have no idea who she's looking for - she's certainly spending most of her day on it though. I think she's one of those women with a totally unrealistic expectation of men. My sister knows many of those! I just hope she doesn't have to find out the hard way that most men on dating sites are timewasters.

I don't really want to talk about the past any more. I am now talking to new ladies!

I have found a nice Sichuan lady - she has studied abroad and lives away from home so she should be a lot more independent. My sister has told me to make sure her parents are healthy!

My former translator has also given me a P number of a Guangdong lady who might be interested in me. I overlooked her before, but she is both educated and beautiful. Wow. I don't know why I need to write that though as all the chnlove ladies are beautiful!

I have looked at other sites, but the chnlove ladies seem so much more beautiful than anywhere else.

As to me, I'm off to stay in a recession hit salaryman hotel in Tokyo for most of April. Both of my new online ventures are now making decent money, so I'll have time out there to think of some more ideas.

I thought about going to Thailand but it's too hot in April, and I couldn't get a China visa in time, so Shanghai was off the itinery. So I will have to make do with having to visit Kamakura again in a train full of school girls in sailor uniforms, and spotting Japanese women wearing stockings and garters when they go shopping .
