Title: Greetings and a brief introduction

Hello everyone, greetings from Sydney Australia.  My name is Jason and as this is my first post I thought I would introduce myself. 

I am 39 and divorced.  The ex cheated on me whilst I was in the Navy and away so that was the end of that marriage.  Pretty devastated to tell you the truth.  But I am over that now and moving on with my life.

I have been on chnlove for a while and only discovered that it had a forum by mistake.  I think I was looking in the site map section for a page about flowers being delivered and discovered it had a forum.  From there I read everything that I could, and discovered the sister forum, this one.  I intend to be an active member and add my limited experiences to this site.  I have a great lady that lives in Shenzhen and I am going to see in mid July, with everything going well I intend to ask her if she will marry me.  I am as nervous as anything at the moment and there is still over a month to go.  Will probably be a big mess by the time I get to go.  I will post my visit and experiences as they unfold.  I enjoyed reading the success stories that other members have posted and sincerely wish them all well.

Welcome Jason. 

I am sure you will find this site interesting and quite valuable.  If I have my way I will be in Shenzhen in July also.  It will be my second trip.  Maybe we could meet up over dinner or something like that.  If you have any questions about Shenzhen just ask, I'll see what I can do.

Shaun, thanks that sounds like a great idea will be there from 16 Jul.  Hopefully my love will be able to come too.  Maybe we can arrange everything via this forum.  Cheers Jason

I also Welcome you to our Forum of Fact's / Fun / Laugh's and Member's that also speak many different Languages if you ever .. ?

Having over a Month's time , yes ... read and ask anything you need to help you along and make you more comfortable and less nervous when you finally do go .
