Post by: Mikael_Shim on December 30, 2010, 06:05:03 am
Is there anyone else on here planning to go to Harbin for the Winter festival? Me and my gf plans to go there to to do some skiing and watching the spectacular Ice and Snow sculpting anyone else planning also?

I just left a few weeks ago. My wife left this morning moving to Zhuhai. We lived there about a year. Prices on every thing are great. And it is very very cold.
Wish I had known sooner. She just let our furnished apartment go and we still had a month rent left on it.  I don't remember any real mountains for skiing. But then again I ski a Lake Tahoe. But I can promise the Ice Show is fantastic.  Very beautiful, to bad it all disappears in march and april.

Yeah i heard its very cold, weather here in Beijing is still fairly mild and on the plus side in the days but dropping below the zero during the nights. There should be some real mountains for skiing in Harbin, my gf told me. We will probably go there in february as it looks. "to bad" you just left, let me know when you get back here next time man.
