Having failed to get my lady out of China to visit here, I am planning to take her to Bali in June. AFAICT, she will be able to get a visa at the airport. My colleagues agree, but I would love to know if someone her has actually done it, just to be sure,
Yes, she has a current Chinese passport

Do not know what AFAICT means, must be kompuda slang or something. I am sure someone will have done it and can explain the details. There is some info here on the Australian requirements about getting tourist visas.

I have done it... It is called a Visa on arrival. You get it at the custom for a fee upon arrival in Bali. Easy!
-
Ming and I have done both Bali and Thailand on the "visa on arrival" method. Ming has a Chinese Passport and she just needed to fill out a form at the Airport on arival, (include 1 passport photo) and pay a small fee. For that you get a 30 day stay...no probs !!!

Dijal,
You are from Canada ! Does your post mean you have done it yourself as a Canadian or have done it for someone else who has a Chinese passport?
-
Sorry Jason... "as far as I can tell"
David, great news!! I thought as much looking at the requirements, but to have somebody who has done exactly the same is very reassuring indeed, ta bro!!
Booked the Legian in Seminyak, my favorite pub in the world.
Will give Thailand a run later in the year away from the wet season up north

Hi Pineau,
I did it for me and my GF! We took recently the 30 days visa right at custom but for less money you can get a 7 days visa also. It is VERY easy. It was for Bintan island near Singapore.
Good luck
