Ahh thanks all for the wishes , and thanks to he who's baking has a meaning that runs silent & runs deep. Although I do live in Canada where winters can be so buurr cold, as this one was, Robertt has a way to put the icing on the cake that I can handle - the frosting as well.
I was treated to a Chinese buffet for lunch and the owner created a small mango pudding pie for my treat with a single candle that made me blew out any Birthday blues I was feeling with gaining another year older. I enjoyed my hometown's contribution to Chinese food as ginger fried beef was first created here - not made in China.

Happy Belated Birthday Rhonald.
Though you might have felt a little blue you will soon be at the age that you will have been grateful to survive another year. i.e. those older than me as I haven't reached that age yet.

I need to correct you Shaun. We do not look at the time past we only look to the future. What has gone for us has gone for you as well! Never be sure that you have not reached THAT age yet. ::)

With all this talk of ages makes me think there is a tall story hidden there somewhere. After all with all the knowledge we have on this site, makes me wonder if..... it was the age of wisdom, or it was the age of foolishness

Wise words non the less Rhonald. For some it MAY have been the former, for others definately the second. For many which way the coin lands still has to be decided.

Ah what the dickens , I was just trying to mentioning about some experiences people have had in some exotic foreign cities. They tell us a tale or two of their journey. And with this new found knowledge, let us wish a spring of hope for more successes and desire no one suffers anymore, a winter of despair.
