Title: Cheap Hotels (to confirm?)
Post by: Sylvain D on July 31, 2009, 11:48:54 am
Hi there, brothers.

I don't know if anyone of you has checked before on this weblink, but I found a very good price for a 5 stars hotel in Shanghai, for when I'll be there.

here's the link :
http://hotel-se.com

Please enjoy and leave any coment.
BTW, I looked with others weblinks related to bookings, and it seems that this weblink is quite better.

Hey Sylvain, I'm happy to see you're the same opinion. I discovered them on iGoogle. Have you tried their widget?
http://www.google.com/ig/directory?type=gadgets&url=fly3.net/gadgets/hotel-c-en4a.xml
or if you want it in simplified chinese:
http://www.google.com/ig/directory?type=gadgets&url=fly3.net/gadgets/hotel-c-cs.xml

I have both, and I can tell you, this guys saved me a lot of money. I saw price differences of ~ 50% !!!

Where are you located?
Cheers!

You're welcome, Sylvain. I've searched a lot, also. It seems that a lot of hotel retailers want to rip us off :@
Salut!

Well, I've even compared with cheapoair and voyages-sncf, there's a big difference.
What is just a bit "funny", is that man has to search the best he can to find the nice price...

Be careful with those Shanghai girls, was once married to one. Arnold found the diamond in the rough. High maintenence though. Don't pay more than 200 rmbs a night. If you wanted to really save money you could stay in a really nice youth hostel for about 100 rmbs. In Shenzhen hostels are 60 rmbs and really nice and safe, drawback is you might not have internet access.

Just a hint, as remarked by Sylvain, Asiarooms is included in the results from Hotel-SE.com, as many other retailers. I checked out, hotel-se.com don't sell rooms, it's a search engine, just like google.
Not to be off topic, for those who need to see who has the cheapest air tickets, see this post here:

Cheers.

Yeah, definitely have your lady book the hotel. There are many great hotels for $30 USD or less if you let her or her friends do the booking. Another great source in Winser Zhao at China Travel 2.0 (http://www.chinatravel20.com/)
