Title: Age of members
Post by: Sylvain D on August 11, 2009, 03:22:50 am
Hi there.

I was thinking, maybe could it be "good" to have any idea of the "middle age" of all members who are here.
I know that some members (for any reason:huh:) don't want to put their birthdate (are they scared about it? :D) but it could give any idea, if most of us are above 35 years old or under, and to have like any percentage about all of it.

V.H, in fact, I'd like to have that information, because it may can be good for each of us (I think).
Most of members here are above 40 years old, so they have "strong experience" in their life and have surely gone more than 2 times in China (and maybe live there by now, too)

Whatever the birthdate is hidden or not, just the Birth's year could be said.

Thanks again for your reply anyway ;)

When "everybody" will have posted here his birth year, I can also do like a histogram, with 3 or 4 "parts" of age. (I.E : 25-30; 31-40; 41-50...)
That could also give any idea of the "population" here, without any discrimination about age...
Sorry if my english can be "poor" when trying to explain :s

David,
I didn't put the 4th part, so, right now, my post is still good, don't you think so?
I.E: 51+ ;)
or maybe a 5th one with the 4th : 51-60 and then, 61+
I'll see... but I think I'll have a bit some time before EVERYBODY puts his birthyear... ;)

Ha!  Age is nothing.  My last relationship was with someone 24 years younger than me.  Because I stay fit and healthy, I could keep up in every way.  hehe  In fact, the reason we could never cap the process off in marriage, is she had this neurotic idea:  Because I liked sex a lot, that she was never enough and that I had to be chasing other skirts.  Absolutely neither accusation was true!  Sixty years old is not a death sentence.  So here's to all the old farts! :)

Let's put it this way, I maybe an old fart to some, I might even look like an old fart to some...
But i'll give any Young Buck a run for his money when it comes to knowing how to please a woman,

No, Sly your not wrong, I was just messing with you a little.  That is all.  (messing can also be the same as teasing)

Scottish Rob had messed with you a little and you responded well so I tried to.  If I had an issue with you doing this I would have not responded.

If you in some way make me mad you will know it for sure.  But I will tell you  with a private message not in a thread so everyone can see.

I'm from 1965.

It still feels like I've just finished high school. Sometimes on my way back from the market here in Melbourne, I take a short cut through one of the university campuses. It seems like just yesterday I was skipping classes, and eating chips and drinking beer first thing of the day - and that's still how I'd like to be living now *laughs*

I'm 25 years old + 102 Months. :P

Actually looks like I'm the pup here... though a few are just a tad older than I.

I'm wondering something too... do Chinese normally count the year they're born as their first year? So a 25 year old would say they're 26. The reason why I bring this up is because when I first talked to my girl she told me she was going to be 26 next month but when we started talking about Chinese Horoscopes she mentioned she was born in the year of the "mouse" (She used mouse, guess it sounds cuter than rat, lol) Which is really cool because I'm a dragon and rats and dragons are supposedly a perfect match. But the years didn't add up right if she was going to be 26. So when I asked again she told me her year of birth and it turns out she's going to be 25 next month. She said the reason why she 26 is because she goes by the Chinese year model.

Anyway, not a big deal. Younger girlfriend FTW!

Brent,

It's common to say you are one year old at birth in many Asian countries, But on all official documentations, the age is counted as everywhere else in the world. ....And starts counting from birth
Just another of these custom/cultural things i guess, but it can be confusing!!  lol!!

Must depend on age to a large extent. Someone under 30 who was never in a serious relationship....'bout normal !!!

Someone over 40 who hasn't.........bit strange !!

But for a young guy, 30 to 40 who was not in a relationship before.......needs to get out more !!!

C'mon you young fellows.

I passed 60  a while back on the fourth of July and it has been like a holiday ever since.   I am now in love for the third time in as many months!!!  Like the last two this one is for real!!!!!  Those dates in between were just feelers.

The day i arrived in China in June was the day that age meant no more than the numbers on my lottery ticket -there is one sure way to stay youthful, handsome, sophisticated, suave, debonair, etc etc. these are not my words, i would never have used sophisticated!  these are descriptions given by those I have dated here and they do not need three pints of beer or half a bottle of red wine to become elequent.

I wont tell you the age of my youngest but the eldest is the one I am with now and she is 14 years younger than me.

The new Professional Super Viagra is good stuff.

Willy you have to slow down a little I think your wearing out these women? :icon_cheesygrin:

No problem Vince - I have moved onto Zhongshan now i cannot recall any brother having a lady there so maybe I have a whole city to my self!!!

But must admit I am slowing down now - I met two girls in the street could not even distinguish 'i give you message'  from 'I give you massage'  but i was saved by Teds wife who cleared them from my room as I patiently waited to hear 'the Message'

Willy,

Your a real card when you get going!!  hahaha!! It's a shame your humour gets lost in any translation you have with the ladies there, ...or you'll be totally swamped with them.. lol!!
So you must have the personality too, that get though to them, you don't need any translation for that to be seen.....

Jeez, that evening with Danny must have been a real blast, ...Aussie and London humour Mixed!! Now that must have been something!!!!... Even if it was toned down somewhat by the presence of Danny's daughter! ...hahaha!!

David.....

Personally, I can't see the point of this thread. My member is exactly the same age as me!

Now I know why I was getting so much attention.  They were waiting for me to change into the 'The Chocolate Man'. so they can all have a nibble.

But seriously Neil I may have seen her there.   I think I have picked up her description from your postings. She is about 5'2" - 5'3" brown eyes with very dark hair that is almost black, very pretty and slim in stature?  Maybe a little slanting of the eyes, a lovely skin colouring and speaks Chinese fluently.

If that is a fairly accurate description then NO never saw anyone looking like that at all!!!!   Maybe she spent the time at home looking at your photo. hehe
Or I spent the whole time looking at my reflection is shop windows thinking 'why am i wasting time looking at my reflection when there are so many................'!!

Willy
In case you missed it amongst my posting my date of birth is 4th July 1949 - maybe the oldest on this forum but definately not the wisest as many ladies throughout the world will attest to.

Thank you to all the American brothers who take for much trouble in celebrating my birthday each year.  I know some of you go other the top with the carnival style parades in your home towns but hey, I appreciate each and every one of them.

But how did you hear about my arrival on Earth 60 years ago?   I thought that it was a secret when I was beamed down from Utopia to bring so much pleasure but apparently you guys have been celebrating my arrival even before I got here.

Ah willy, wait till you get my age, its bliss, if you count all the aching bone's, muscles, and grey hair.  Thank god for Viagra, Cealis, and anything that keeps the yang up.  An old polish aid for this is a Tonge depresser and a roll of black tape....:icon_cheesygrin:

Thank you Rocky - you mean that I am not the oldest old git on this forum?

Now thats an incentive.  Better get downstairs as the pharmacy is advertising a new Viagra this week.    They have a lady assistant so I was wondering if they may have a 'try before you buy' service.  Well you can always taste the fruit in the market stalls so i thought that maybe............!!!
