Hello again Brett

I read the date you post this thread and know you have changed the city where you wanted to arrive firstly .  Now both of you decided to meet  in Wuhan , but your lady is in Yi Chang , am I right ? why do you want to meet firstly in Yi Chang rather than Wuhan ?    You would better choose your first flight from UK to China , you can choose Beijing or Guangzhou or Shanghai as the first destination and then take the flight to Wuhan .  In my mind , you can go to Yichang directly and meet your lady there after you arrive in China .  But maybe you and your lady talked about someting in Wuhan ,right ? Wuhan is the capital of Hubei province and it has a great natural and historical scenic spots there , such as the famous Yellow Crane Tower , Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge ,Gui Yuan temple , Guishan Park and so on . I am not sure how long you will stay in Wuhan , so firstly list some places here and if you need more requests, you can send me a message . Yes, Wuhan city is a large city that has a large population ,but  I think you will not see many foreign face as in your country . (:fi_lone_ranger:) , if you meet any problems , you can contact me , I will send my contact information to you . I will always take my efforts to help you . By the way , you can visit Three Gorges in Ychang , very nice  . Good  Luck .

Yes my lady is in Yichang but Expedia doesn't know where that is. Wuhan is the nearest place it knows about. Booking my trip on anything other than Expedia is non-negotiable.

Wuhan is also a good potential place for my family to get to if any wedding plans are made. I'm also going for a couple of weeks, and I don't think there is enough to see in Yichang for that amount of time.

Brett,

You say your lady is from Yichang, so i'm afraid that is where you are going to have to get married i'm afraid, and that's non negotiable, it's the rule in China. So your family, if you intend having them present will need to get to Yichang, not Wuhan. Just thought i'd make you aware of that little unfortunate fact.....

You seem to put an awful lot of faith in Expedia, I've never used them myself, i always arrange my own bookings of both flights and accommodations. But i have heard from some that have, ...not disasters but not exactly good either. I hope they have good arrangements in China and particularly in those cities you wish to visit...

David.....

David50 is absolutely correct. She must be married in her " home town".  It is the law in China.

It is down to my youthful exuberence, caste in the shape of an older man, and the cheek of the devil plus of course the faithful blues.

Pharmaceutical stocks rose again.  Willy before your next trip just let us know first ok?  That way we can get in early.  By the way, tests show that too much Viagra will act like a panic attack.  Not the kind of panic when you think you are running out though.  Have you tried the new Super Viagra?  I havent yet.

I have some new ones waiting for me when I next get London in a week or two but not sure if they are they super ones or not.  Maybe need some as i had a couple of failures in the past week maybe those panicd attacks as I was sure panic -ing.  Embarrassing at the time but I was with an understanding women who had other ideas.
