Oops, I spoke too soon.  I guess mine did go away as well.  Dang!

Ted, I think the problem is advertising, as Vince and Rhonald pointed out.  You pretty well have to pay Google to get your name to the top of the search engine list, or find other ways to advertise.  Personally, I think you guys have a very sound site, and had it been around before I went through chnlove, and had I known about it, I would have used your site.  Unfortunately, you need to spend money to make it.  We have certainly thrown your site's name around here...but most of the guys here are already attached.  And my wife is very adamant that I am NOT allowed to have more than one wife...go figure!

I would say about 10 to 20% of the time if I play a youtube video, the ad that pops up is for Chnlove.

It's because you're programmed in the Internet world. Each time you click/join on a site, the Internet automatically sends you similiar sites to your computer. It's much like Amazon, once you buy a book, they'll recommend similiar books that relate to your interests each and everytime you log on to their site.

Like yourself, before I joined ChnLove, I never saw their ads; now, I see it consistently.

Dave ... You might as well use it up. Perhaps, keep the agency at 'bay'. Plan a tactic with your lady. Tell your lady that you're not planning to visit even if you're. Break up with your wife even if you're getting marry ... all to avoid paying the marriage fee.

I guess I was lucky when they refunded my 21 credits. I wrote them via e-mail and I told them I found a wife here in the US. They said they normally do not refund credits, but did in my case. Maybe if you ask them, they may refund. It doesn't hurt to try.

I still have some unused credits as well.

How's that possible ?

I brought 25 credits in June 2009.

I last used a credit on Oct 14, 2009 to help Rob.

On March 31, 2010, my remaining 20 credits expired ...  I could have transfered these to a brother. If anybody knows a way to reverse these expired credits, they can have my 20.

I wrote a ticket to Customer Service and they reactivated my 20 credits. But I have 180 days to use them or they'll expire again.

How does one go about to transfer credits to another brother ?

Each time I stopped communicating with a lady, I put their profile on my 'blacklist' so they can't send an email and use up my credit.

Thanks Chong I wrote them told them I need to write new girl and would not buy anymore credits if they are going to just vanish. They gave them back in just a few hours.
We ought to put all these unused credits on someone and just stockpile them. Whoever has them just needs to be sure and buy a single credit before 6 months to restart the clock on all of them. Use them to help out a new guy now and then.
You Guys can put them on me if you want. and now and then tell me who you want to give them to and we do a transfer.
I don't know how you do the transfer, But I know Ed W does I will give him a call and find out, I need to call him anyway.  And for those of you that know Ed I talked to him about a week ago he is doing pretty good these days I was happy to hear it.

well if you're helping  anew guy...

*holds out hand expectantly*

I have to agree I don't really like an expiry date on what has been bought. After all they still have the money after they wipe your credits! given it's just magnetic blips on a hard drive somewhere, it's not costing them anything to just hold them.

Blatant money making, which to an extent is quite understandable, they ant your money, and are out to get it any way they can without actually having the coppers knock down their doors.

Customer Service wrote back saying that one cannot transfer credits to another. But some brothers said that they did.

What's the scoop on this ?

Dear Jim,

Thanks for your message again.

So glad to hear that your friends have found their ideal mates in our website. For your concern below, it is regretful to tell you that credits can not be transfer from one client's account to another client's account. Hope you could kindly understand.

For your friends' case, if their ladies are still in China or Thailand, we kindly suggest they use their remained credits to buy some flower/gift to their wifes in our site. The flowers/gift page is:
http://www.chnlove.com/services/gifts.php

Thanks again for your support to our service. Please feel free to let us know if you have additional question or concern. We'll be glad to help our sincere clients.

Kind regards,
Vicki Chow

I asked a 2nd and a third time; finally, they're allowing me to transfer my 20 remaining credits. I said that my wife wasn't from the site; therefore, I can't use the gift services. I then asked what else can be done about the credits.

Actually, Vicki Chow was the service rep that allowed me to transfer my 20 credits. The first few times I corresponded with Flora Tsui who gave me back the expired credits but said I couldn't transfer them until Vicki wrote back to me.

It all depends on how you word your emails. Be nice and then overly nice. Ask them what can be done instead of demanding what you want.

And Flora is the one that helped me so much a year or so ago when we trapped that translator and had him fired.
I am inclined to think they are just doing their job following the new rules, bending them when they can.  They don't get paid extra to disappoint us, but they could get fired if they break to many rules to help us.  And I don't think anyone would want to see someone lose their job, not over a few unneeded credits.

If you do have unneeded credits and you want to help with a project I am planning. When you have a chance PM me. I will explain later.
