Can't you see chinese characters?
via google translator, you can easily translate

I dont know if this is your problem but never hurts.

You never know they may be talking about you.   Or worse still about me!!!!  Probably not, but I will resist putting this through the Google translator just in case.

Hi Ted,

Try this (assuming XP)...

1) Click on START -> CONTROL PANEL -> REGIONAL AND LANGUAGE SETTINGS
2) Click on the LANGUAGES tab
3) Make sure that both checkboxes are ticked and click apply.

That should work.  If you're using VISTA or Win7, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

I'm getting tiny little squares across the screen, can't get chinese charaters or anyother charaters  for that matter.My XT does not list chinese at all, so I will suffer....:dodgy:

anything else I'm clueless...:huh:Paul, I found the site, but will it click back and forth from chinese to english and visa versa? kind of like bring up a small window where you can paste without losing your place here on the forum? or perhaps work in the background?  As this program looks like you have to bring up a windows box to convert windows to chinese, by that time you've lost your place on the forum.  Perhaps a copy and paste method would be better. What do you think?

Sorry I'm a bit confused, but that's nothing new! Once you've downloaded it then you should see  the Chinese characters automatically instead of lines or box's. then cut and paste them into google translate. I don't know much about this sort of thing...well you've probably worked that out:icon_cheesygrin:
