Hey, when are you coming back? I'm getting there around 11/20 !!

I'm coming back that Sunday the 22nd.
Jeeze this is turning out into a brotherhood convention haha!!

Voiceroveip, I may be out of town that weekend or at least until late Saturday evening, its depends how things go.
Will you be bringing a laptop or netbook with you?, if so I'll PM you when there once its firmed up, all the hotels have free internet in my experience (as does Starbucks), so we shouldn't have any problems communicating.
I'll PM you my mobile number one I know it  (I suspect I'll need to get another new sim when I arrive).

Shirts are ironed (far to many..is 10 shirts for 2 weeks excessive?!!), pants are folded and various electronic equipment are charging up - phone, shaver, camera, besta x2, chinese mobile, hair trimmer, laptop, toothbrush ...how did people travel without these essentials before?!!

Its funny the clothes were the easy part of packing, the nerdy electronic stuff is my last minute ..my camera has a firmware update i've been putting off ..will do once its battery is recharged, I gotta transfer some movies and tv shows to the laptop to watch during the torture that is the long flight there, I dont do sitting in one spot for 14 hours well..i have always been a little (ok a lot) hyperactive and the flights drive me close to stir crazy.
I booked an aisle seat this time, i made the mistake of booking windows seats last time and I clearly pissed the aisle people off as i got up for my hourly stroll around the plane.
They do dim the lights and up the temperature after dinner, but I'm running on adrenalin..I'm going to a crazy eastern country, i don't speak the lingo, they don't speak my lingo, and they don't use a knife and fork and crap standing up..and I'm gonna meet a lovely exotic looking lady there for the first time..sleep...no way!!

I'm going to meet up with Ling..who i met first visit to China in February, and she is very lovely, she is my moon shot, my 11/10..looks wise at least. She told me she doesn't put her picture on msn because she gets to many pms from men if she does and i believe that, but her personality..am not so sure.

I have a backup plan that maybe should be the main plan, time will tell.

I'm flying to China tomorrow and i can't sit still!!

I hate the flights also. If i had the money, I would fly business class.  That is the only way to fly there.  Good luck irish and as always if you need anything in Beijing, let me know and we can handle it.  I am envious also.  i miss my wife.

Thanks guys, packing nearly all done, just a couple of last minute shirts to come out of the tumble drier and I'm done. Its cold and windy here, feels weird packing suncream and t-shirts.
Sipping a coffee and trying to remember what i forgot to pack!!
I'll be leaving in about an hours time, this trip is going to be special :)

Hope you are not too cold when you get here.

The locals are walking round in heavy jackets and I am wanting to sunbathe on my balcony!

How can 24 centigrade be cold?

Thanks guys. Made it safely to the airport which is a good start.
Just killing time now waiting for the first flight.
Its cold wet and windy outside, perfect send off to a sunshine holiday.
I am incredibly excited, nervious, happy, scared..haha, the full gauntlet of emotions!
