I am sorry if I misunderstood your post.  But it seemed to me and others that you were trying to justify the abuse by saying the streets were safe. Or that China was better than the US or UK.  You of course have the right to your opinion just like I do. But in your post you did not say you were against  the abuse or that you thought that China was wrong for not doing anything about it.  You said China was better than the UK.  AT least that is the way myself and others read it. So again I am sorry if I misinterpreted your post.

My Son in Law will be home next weekend for two weeks.  Thankfully he has been safe for the first half of his tour.  He hopefully will be here when the babies are born.  The Dr. said could be as early as next week. Incredible that he can come home.  They would not let us go anywhere past Hawaii from Vietnam for our R&R.  I guess they were afraid we would not come back.  Also they talk to each other about every other day.  That still amazes me.  Phone bills are high from Afghanistan but not outrageous.  Plus he gets on facebook.

Had lunch with Martin today (thanks again!) and got to meet Allison (cute as a button as the saying goes).  We talked quite a bit. :icon_cheesygrin: It's amazing how easily everyone here can connect without meeting.  Looking forward to having bigger get-togethers with some of the other guys here... Once Chong gets back, Bee and RCSingles coming into the area, we'll have a GTA meetup.  Maybe with some of the wives as well.

(And yes, we were at Table 10... Martin has the proof)
