Danny , it's so strange you mention this now . Qing and I just last night discussed how I will never take her for Granted , as she keeps telling me over and over the House work she does is NOT work , that only I do work . It took me about half hour explaining to her , that all the thing's
( Washing , Cleaning , Cooking ect. ) is very much Work as  well . I kept getting a NO-NO back all the time . Finally she agreed with me . I think she just gave in .hahaha
I have never taken my late Wife for granted and I certainly will not do it now . But you hit the Nail right on the Head , how to keep the marriage fresh and loving all the time . Nobody say's it's easy , but everything which is good comes with a price and this is such a little price to pay for the Love we receive back .

Ps: I'm a little down , as no one said anything about my new Poem ... which Qing obsolutely loved . I told her I will pull it off here .

 No need cutting off your ear Arnold - I did enjoy some of the nuances of your lines. I would, however, like to argue that I believe for a flower to truly blosom, it needs to experience misfortune to strengthen its charm. But the only critic you need to impress is your lovely flower and yourself. Have a happy New Year Qing & Arnold - the town is a Buzz with your Bliss while I am stuck here in a blizzard.

Flower's,to blossom can have no Pain .

Just read the same poem on your blog site. You have "cant have no Pain" there. Now I see the typo here was what made the poem unbalanced. Also, somehow seeing it in handwriting on your blog site gives it even more charm.

Arnold, some how I skipped a whole page on this post and your poem.  After I read it I can see the love you have for Qing. I always hear how we are so lucky to have wifes from China.  One thing I would like to point out that shows the depth of where this poem comes from is that Qing is lucky to have you too.

The poem gives insight into the relationship between you and Qing from your perspective.  Quite remarkable as to love the two of you share.  We could only be as lucky.

Arnold I love the poem... you have the heart of a poet.  I still remember some of the poems you wrote and posted here for Qing when she was still in China.  I am so happy that you and Qing are now together at last!  I wish you both all the happiness and a long life!  Your romance and marriage to Qing has been an inspiration to me and you always give the best advice to the Brotherhood.

I think it would be great if Edward and I can drive up from San Diego one day and have dinner with you and Qing!  If we are all lucky, maybe Qing, Edward's wife, and my Anna will one day be friends too!:icon_biggrin:

I was just trying to poke fun at Arnold's many references to being a Bee that Buzzes - since I am an illiterate fool that likes to use alliteration literally. I forgot to think that we had a member with that bell ringing name. Now I feel that I am an old cantankerous man - buzzard :s

Happy New Year to you too Buzz and I will wait with baited breathe for your next Buzzword :icon_cheesygrin:

Since I am aware of my limitations and do not wish to match wits with a master, I bow to your greatness.  For it is most likely that I will need your assistance this year in finding those elusive red october shoes, and therefor wish to remain humble before the master.

I do wish to point out that this really is not the year of the tiger;  it truly is    "buzz lightyear" , 'to china and beyond'.

Just want you all to know , that I like to publish some of my Poem's in my Book .. this is why I ask for anyone's thought/opinion of them , to give me an Idea if I should or not use a certain one . I do appreciate an honest answer either way . So thanks in advance for this help . Sorry to use the Forum for this , but I also hope it would inspire some other's to start writing their Lady similar Poem's .

It was so nice to see your post Qing!  Of course you and Arnold will always be welcome in our home so I hope you both will visit in San Diego many times in the future!  I think it would be great fun for all six of us to celebrate some traditional Chinese holidays together!:icon_biggrin:

Arnold and Qing...

Anna wanted me to ask you both how long of a period of time passed between your filling for your spousal visa and your arrival in the US?

Anna has been reading Arnold's posts here and I have shown her photographs that you have posted.

We have decided to try the fiancee' visa first because it seems that it might be slightly faster due to a longer waiting list for married couples.

I hope we are right.  I would marry her right now though...  :heart:  I know we are both very much in love!:icon_cheesygrin:

A Flower comes Home !

Flower's bend in the Wind
freeze in the Cold
some need to be in plenty of Sun
other's are afraid of the Rain
so to have it all told
Flower's,to blossom can have no Pain .

Certain tall and lengthy Flower's
can reach for the blue Sky
filter the Love out of thin Air
only to find light shower's
seeking someone that truely cares.

Being planted in a foreign place
the Love away by oh so far
hoping,wanting and wishing
one Day to be able to touch that Star.

Having found one with a smile
only to cross a Distance
of oh so many watery miles
to where this Love can be shared
never to leave this Dance
in the warm Arm's of Romance
so nothing more can be said...
...The Flower is Home .

Arnold,

You are such a romantic person,Nowdays seldom guy use this way to express their feeling. I remember my friend ever showed me the poem which the boy wrote to her in high school, and it made me jealous, Because I have never receive a love letter until now.
Love ,Joy ,Peace~

Thank you Chen Yan , it is strange for me to start writing Poem after I met Qing . So , in other word's .. it took 54 year's for that to happen . She was the sole insperation for me doing this . I was alway's Romantic , but not in this way . Who know's , maybe writing Song's is next . Haha
Well , this has certainly been a Wonderful New Year's eve and New Year so far .
First thing on Friday , Qing and I watched most of the Rose Parade from 8:00 am on . Missed some , because she would not leave me alone :icon_cheesygrin::heart:. Then , it was off to my Uncle's Cabin in the Mountains about one and a half hour's away from Palmdale . Spend the day and early Evening there , which was a real nice Family gathering of about 18 or so People .. counting Kid's . In the evening after Dinner , we got down and play'd some Poker ... which I gave QIng some lesson earlier . Turns out she outlasted me on the Table , as my Uncle was the big winner . This was for Money of course , because Qing ( chinese ) don't play any Games just for Fun .
Today , it was off to Pasadena to see the Float's with my Neighbor's . I had made Breakfast as Qing was getting ready and we left about 1/4 to 10am . We got there about 11:00 and we walked about three  hour's ( with a large Crowd ) and pretty warm temp's , which nobody expected . So we all were way to warm dressed and that made it a little harder , as it felt like a hot summer day .. with little shade . You know , about chinese Lady's and the Sun ? No umbrella , no sun glasses ... this of course worried Qing . Especially , after I told her .. boy your getting brown . :icon_cheesygrin: . All this was fast forgotten when we came upon the Shanghai Float , with the Pearl Tower , Financial Building and Jinmao Building on it . I also had the chance to talk to the Security Guard ( which was Chinese ) about my four Trip and how much I love that City .
After all that it was off to Burbank and catch some Dinner and back Home . Tomorrow , it relaxing .. with only Qing getting her Driving lesson and a Trip to Wal-Mart for some Bargaining . Hahaha
As the time spend that we are together , our Love just seems to grow even beyond ever thought possible .
Well , now it's time to make Honey ... so I have some for my Tea tomorrow .
