Ever since he could no longer play WoW
he began constantly downloading single-player games.

    Unwilling to wash dishes.
Always forgets to get a towel when bathing.
    Sometimes also petty/narrow-minded. -v-

That sounds like my ex. The biggest reason I am divorced was she quit grad school to play wow all day (4-5PM to 8-9AM). After 18 months of me trying to get her to quit and do something with her life (school or job) I gave up. During the 18 months I did everything at home (cooking, cleaning, dishes, etc) and she refuses to go outside (or even shower). She also refused to go to a doctor to get some help.

My husband is also very shameless. He is obsessed with cleanliness, bathes twice a day, and bathes extremely slowly. I really do not understand what a man with not that much hair has to wash inside!

Metrosexual?

Your not the only one David - I do not know what the WOW is in play.

I have often heard it said though, usually when I have undressed and they look at me and say 'WOW You must be joking' !!!!!!

WoW stands for World of Warcraft.  It's an alternate reality game (you create a person in another universe and wander around in it, interacting with others, completing tasks, etc.)

Never got into it, especially considering you have to pay a monthly fee to keep playing...talk about drugs...

The complaints sound like the ones from home, here in Australia. They seem so ordinary, and seem so easy to resolve, with just a little effort from each side.

wilsbrough

My ex wife did heavily (14-16 hours a day) for almost a year and half. During the latter periods she would go weeks without showering since she never left the apartment. Trust me, not showering for a few weeks smells really bad.

World of Warcraft is more called a MMOPRG (Massive Multilayer Role Playing Game). People create an character for themselves (my ex played a undead female warlock) in the game and join a virtual world with thousands of people playing in real time. There hundreds of of servers and in each one has thousands if not tens of thousands playing in real time. They interact via chat and do things together from completing quests, farming (doing repetitive things for gold or reputation in game), raids (think 10 or 25 people in the game doing the same thing week after week to kill big monster that give you better gear). They join guilds online (which are like clans I guess) that do these raids and other stuff together. Some of guilds have something called  Ventrillo which they can talk (voice) with each other.

Some of it is ridiculous. For example my ex wanted this mount (which is a flying horse type deal) and it cost like 5000G or something. For two weeks she would go up and down this ramp by this place called the Black Temple and kill these guys and loot the bodies. Literally probably 200-250 hours just going up and down this ramp killing these things for a mount.

You pay $14US a month to play it here. So she was paying to do this.

I think these people that play these nonsense games, and pay for the priviledge, are just ''Sad Buggers'' and need to get a life.... Just got to be something missing up in there in the grey matter department!!!

David....
