I did not know where this fit so I thought I would start a thread. Plese feel free to post things your Lady has written or said that helped you decide that she just might be the one for you. I just had to brag on her responce to someone so I thought of you guys. Thanks feel free to do some bragging of your own. :icon_cheesygrin:

I finally asked Lin Ya why she loved me even though we had never met in person yet. She avoided the question on the phone but about fifteen minutes later she sent these words to my e-mail. Not EMF but personal email.

"I can understand your thoughts very well, but to be honest I can't tell you the exact reason how can I love you without seeing you, I think maybe it's love and it happens no reason, sometimes I also feel it's strange, but I love this feeling and my heart have never lied to you, you are the one who warm me, you are the one who gave me your heart, you are the one who always show me yours sincerity and your love, you are the one who make me see my future and it's so bright, you are the one who makes me safe and happy, I think maybe it's the reason I love you."

Aww the world just seems so right.

Her answer is very deep and full of emotion.  I've always felt, that if I ask the question, and she can come up with an answer that quantifies her feelings in a sentence then perhaps it's not genuine.  I believe that love can not be described fully.  If I were to answer such a question my response would be filled with word pictures, quotes from poems and songs and even then I would feel that the answer would be lacking in it's depth and not able to reach the true feelings I have for someone.  If that is the type of answer that I would give then I would feel confident that I had indeed found true love.

I was quite puzzled when I heard these words from Ming, but when she explained it was a specific Chinese Woman's saying to express something really good...I was suitably impressed :icon_cheesygrin::icon_cheesygrin:

I asked her why she thought I was her soul-mate...and she replied

"Because you make my bones get soft " !!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Ying. Yes you are very correct true love does not need a reason. It is just nice from time to time to hear what it is you are doing right to help build that love.

Yes this is why the question was asked. In a time of doubt I sometimes find I need reasurance from her as to intention and feelings. Expression of feelings I think does not come easily from my lady. When I need this kind of reasurance from her I must ask for it. In this reply in a short little letter she expressed all the feelings she has in many phone calls, web cam sessions, and letters over the last several months. It made me feel great as she always does when I need it.

a 15 minute talk about why and i was just amazed at what she said and actually
didnt know what to say.and for anyone who kows me i am usually not at a loss for
words. well we are now married and i live in GZ and i guess if the short story i am
writing about my journey and experiences in china over the years gets published
