Thank goodness for the Olympics. 

At least that gives the USA people a National team to cheer, on an International Level that is.  But now the USA is making headway in Football then maybe things will change in future generations!

My favourite competitor in the Sochi Games is of course Wang Bing Yu.

Well I do have to congratulate the USA Football team in reaching the last 16 knockout stage of the World Cup.

England, Italy, Portugal and 2010 winners, Spain, all out.  Sorry David forgot that Australia are out as well.

England played rubbish and deserve to be out. Whereas the USA team deserve to be in that last 16. The thousands of Americans who made the trip to Brazil to support their team have certainly been rewarded.

The team have certainly given the USA a leg up in the FOOTBALL world.

Thank you America.  After watching 16 Formula 1 Grand Prix' throughout the World this season it was number 17 in Texas that was the most exciting of all.

Up and down hills lots of twists and turns but firstly a track for overtaking and was there overtaking, never seen so much in a Grand Prix.
