Rob,

Listen but dont hear is a good way of putting it. But they do seem to hear well when another chinese person
fills their ear with crap. Its causing me to divorce but thhats ok as i have always said changes are good and
im to old to have the crap. So the only one who can make the decision to stay or go IS YOU. I have made mine
and even though its not the way i wanted it to end i will not regret it because I MADE THE DECISION. Your talking
so see what comes out of it, but listen to your heart like i did. Thats the best way to do it. Money is what destroys
these relationships and also that bu@@##$% tradition crap that must be followed with total disregard to were youre
from. It should always be a two way street in all relationships and i suggest the ones starting out to really have some
deep discussions before commiting. And even then it doesnt always work out for the best.

While I am curious about the chopstick thing its probably best left where it is.

Rob you are a nice guy, I wish you all the best and I am relieved you are going back home where you are safe and not a few RMB from living on the street!
I admire you for trying, you can look back and say no regrets, you made a couple of mistakes for sure but who doesn't?, you took a chance going back and I admire you for that.

It wasn't for you, life moves on , you now now that, no regrets mate.
Become the change you want today, or all your tomorrows will be like yesterday.

Hey Ted,

Sorry to hear about the bad news.  It's true a relationship is a two way street and both sides have to have some respect for the other's viewpoint.

Good advice on the end, hope everyone takes that part to heart.

Rob, Glad you are back.  Don't worry if there are any ruffled feathers left they will settle down after time.

Now, and you already know this but you know what to do for the future.

Well you are back home this is a good thing. You did piss some of the guys off. and I am sure most will get over it.

Here's my best advice for you. Kinda going along with what Shaun had said. Now you need to just forget it, Don't bring it up again. Every time you do it is a reminder. And it will spark any negative feeling anyone had all over again.

So you are home safe, and as Shaun said you know what to do. So now that's what you should do.
Sophie sounds like a pretty good gal. Do right by her and do it the right way. She deserves it.

Good luck

Rob,

It's over?  :o  I though you said you were going to explain everything.  If it is over take a few days to contemplate the issues.  You know we are here for you so PM me if you need.

No condemnation here.

Dont let some failed relationship with one of these Chinese women get you down.
To many more were they come from to cry over spilled milk!!!!
Get up get going and move on to greener pastures.

No need to explain anything either it is your personal issues that you need to work thru.

Rob,

Don't give up now. You have way too much invested in this to give up the ship. Take a break for a while. Think things through again. Prepare yourself better. Just take things a little more cautiously next time.  ;)
