Merry Christmas
« on: December 23, 2010, 06:02:33 pm »
It is hard to believe that yet another year has passed by.  This group has now been around for two years, with many of the original guys still coming here.  With the close of the second year, we also have many new members.  It has been an exciting year full of changes for many of us, including the forum itself.  In the past year, Irishman changed the look of the forum...changed the URL to make sure it was annoying for the guys in China to access, and then changed it again, because he felt bad for these members, and wanted to make it easier on them.  And not to forget, that Irishman, after about a million or so trips to China, finally got married, and will soon be joined in Ireland with Sunny.  This year, Irishman also taught us that you can create a blog, and only write 4 posts.  Sorry buddy, I couldn't resist commenting on that.

This has been a good year in general for us.  Several of the guys have gotten married.  Several of us have even managed to FINALLY bring our wives to our home country.  Unfortunately, there are some guys whose immigration case seems to take forever.

We have had many laughs together on this site.  There have also been more than a few fights.  We have lost members, and we have gained new ones.  We have laughed with each other, and felt each others pain.  This road is not always easy.  And we all know that there are no guarantees.  But it is the path we have decided to follow.

This is the second anniversary of the forum.  This forum could not be possible, without everyone here taking an active role.  The information that guys give here is invaluable.  It is the best collective resource on a subject that I have ever seen.  For that, I thank all of you.  I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas, and a very happy New Year.

Martin

I'll be driving up north right after Christmas. A wedding, daughters BD, a couple of legal meetings, visiting friends and family. I'll have my laptop with me so I'll check in when I can. Watching the growth of this forum has been astonishing. The Dream Lives.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.

Merry Christmas, God jul, 圣诞节快乐, Frohe Weihnachten, Joyeux Noël -

I wish everyone of you and your families happy holidays. May your wishes become true.
