Well once upon a time I was a Hab, but now I am a Hab not. Anyways everyone knows that Canada's real national sport is Lacrosse. And the only good athlete out of Montreal is Georges St-Pierre and his best punch is La Cross

Game 2:

Vancouver Canucks 3...Boston Bruins 2.  Alex Burrows scores 11 seconds into overtime.  The Sedin twins (yeah, those Swedes) play a great game and Luongo proves once again he is the best goalie in the game.   Yeah Baby!!!

I only saw the highlite real of the overtime goal but must admit good hustle by Burrows for the winning goal.

in response to the video, I was on leave one time, sometime in the 90's, rode on a plane full of Boston fans, headed to Detroit, obnoxious lot. Although the fellow in the video does have more of a NY cadence to his speech. I've known enough other Bostonians in my days.

he has the attitude down, Boston fans are a pain in the ---! The good thing about that plane ride to Detroit, I watched the game at home that night, slaughter.

Well after 2 dismal losses, the Canucks come back and take game 5.  Good game, 1-0 score.  One more win to go.  The more we win the more the rest of the country doesnt like us.  At least they know where Vancouver is now!  Love that video.

I love how the whole country is getting behind them.  Boston Pizza in Vancouver changed it's name to Vancouver Pizza.  Tim Hortons (coffee/doughnut shop) changed the name of the Boston Cream to Vancouver Cream.  The highway sign that warns people about road issues or tells you to put on your seat belt says: Go Cannucks!  I can't wait to watch the next game.

My favourite is the recent posting on Twitter by the Vancouver Police.  You see there are over 100,000 fans watching the games outside in a couple of areas in downtown Vancouver where they have set up massive tv screens.   On its Twitter feed, the Vancouver Police Department noted: "Drinking in public: $230. Peeing in public: $230. Watching a playoff game with thousands of new fans: priceless."   Ya gotta love it!

Darn .. the only good point Bost o n winning Cough .. cough it , is . they did drink Champagne out of it at least and not Tea .
What can I say , I'm sure Vancouver is going to be a sad City for weeks/months to come .

Well Boston gets the Champagne.  It's tough being a Canucks fan sometimes.  But wait till next year!!!
