Scottish joke around .. but never about themselves.
I'm sorry to hear that kind of news , may it be Family/Friends or Stranger's . Hope it was only a little Earthquake in your Body and not a Fore-runner of something bigger ! Take it very easy Rob from now on .

Hi Guys.

Robbies not joking. He contacted me as soon as he woke up yesterday. As on here his writing was a bit gibberish so I called him.  He told me what had happened when he had woken up.  (He had sent me a message in the night to say he could not sleep as he had a thumping headache)

His speak was very blurred and hard to understand but from what I could make out he had all the classic symptons of having had a stroke. Reduced use of one arms, face on other side feeling like it it hanging, blurred speeech.

I told him to get on the phone and get an amnbulance.

Anyway it was a long day here waiting for news and just when I was going to ring his cellphone, before going to bed, up pops his name on Skype.  So contacted him and he confirmed that he had had a mini stroke.

He has to take things a bit easier but hopefully all will be well.

One of the problems is that he thinks he is hitting the correct key on the comp but he is not so  anything can come out gibberish.

Lets hope he is fit again soon.

Willy

Thanks Willy for the update.

Rob, I hope you get better real soon.  I have said a couple of prayers for you and will keep you on my prayer list while you do through this.  I hope with mini strokes there isn't any lasting effects.  I know with my father and proper care there weren't any.

I hope he's doing better. It will take a long while to recover from that.

Hi guys a word from your favourite scotsman ;D and if thats not enough you can hear fropm me instead :D :D

Well today i was at the hospital concerning my 'stroke' I was told that the blood clot that caused it has dispearsed :D, so that is no longer the worry,

However what I was told was that I will (possibly) have to go for an operation on the blockage thats in my neck, so should be a couple of weeks before that happens, at least the mainn worry has gone... ;D
