A Troll is a mythical "nasty" that usually can be found lurking under Bridges, waiting to catch and eat unsuspecting Children....mythology that is about 600 years old !!!

The Internet has stolen this original version for its own purposes !!!!

In addition to the definition posted from wikipedia, I would like to add a second variance of the word.

Troll:  one who stays in a chat room and attempts to engage the members, usually female, in explicit sexual discussion.  This activity when participated in mutually is often called "cyber sex".  The act of doing so is sometimes referred to as "cybering".
